NTSE Karnataka 2023 Eligibility Criteria
NTSE eligibility criteria for each stage differ; the basic eligibility is students must be currently studying in their class 10. The other criteria, like age limit and nationality, may also vary for NTSE Karnataka.
Given below are the eligibility criteria that candidates should satisfy before applying for NTSE Karnataka stage 1.
- Only candidates from Karnataka are eligible.
- Students must be currently in class 10.
- Students studying in Karnatka open schools may also be eligible for a scholarship if their age does not exceed 18 years.
- Students working in the studies are not qualified for a graduation test.

- Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- Candidates must be currently studying in class 10 under a recognized government or private school in India.
- Unemployed candidates below the age of 18, studying in class 10 from distance learning, can also apply.
NTSE Karnataka 2023 Registration Process
The NTSE application form of Karnataka will be soon available online. Once it is available, candidates can fill the NTSE Karnataka application form, the students should get the form signed by the institution's head.
For the submission of the NTSE application form, refer to these steps.
- Students will first need to contact the respective school coordinator.
- Applicants will have to submit the necessary documentation and passport-sized photographs to the school coordinator.
- To complete the NTSE Karnataka application form, students of the reserved category must submit a certified copy of their caste/category certificate.
- To successfully submit the NTSE Karnataka application form, applicants will have to pay the application fee.
The NTSE Karnataka examination fee is INR 75 for the general category and INR 20 for the SC/ST students of the government-aided school. For unaided schools, it is INR 200 for the general category and INR 50 for SC/ST students.
Only the students who have successfully submitted the application forms are eligible to download the NTSE hall ticket of Karnataka. Without admit card, students won't be eligible to appear for the state 1 NTSE of Karnataka.
