KVPY Syllabus 2024

Candidates applying for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2024-25 must check the detailed KVPY syllabus given below. There is no prescribed syllabus available for the KVPY written test. However, students are tested for the syllabus based on classes X and XII and the stream selected.

KVPY Exam Pattern

KVPY exam has no prescribed syllabus, but the questions will be taken from classes 11, 12, and the first year of B.Sc, B.S., B.Stat., B.Math., Int. M.Sc., or MS. All the questions are compulsory in the SA stream. In SB/SX streams, participants can attempt any three sections from part 1 and any two sections from part 2.

KVPY SA Exam Pattern

KVPY stream A covers portions of classes 9 to 12 taken from India's recognized education board like CBSE, ICSE, or state board.

KVPY Stream SB/SX covers topics from undergraduate first-year science and mathematics degree-level.

KVPY Syllabus for all Streams

In the KVPY stream SA, the exam covers all the corresponding science syllabus of class 9. Whereas for stream SB, the KVPY exam covers all the corresponding science syllabus of first-year undergraduates. Hence, aspirants will be tested in Maths, Physics, the chemistry of 1st year B.Sc, BS, B.Stat, B.Math, Int. M.Sc, or MS.
