CMO Sample Papers 2024

The CMO 2024-25 or CREST Mathematics Olympiad is an international competitive exam held online for students in classes Prep, KG, and 1 to 10. The exam focuses more on assessing students' ability to use mathematical concepts in daily life. The exam paper is framed as fun, problem-solving questions and questions on the use of mathematics in everyday life.

For students of classes Prep, KG, and 1 and 2, there will be only one level. There will be two levels for students of classes 3 to 10. Crest Olympiad has released the sample paper for all the classes. Practicing these model question papers will help students to get an idea of the maths Olympiad Exam.

Crest Mathematics Olympiad

CMO exam questions are MCQ test questions that need to be completed in 60 minutes. For students of class Prep and KG, the exam will be conducted under the assistance of a parent or teacher, and the duration of the exam will be 45 minutes. CMO exam consists of two sections: practical mathematics and achievers section.

There are two levels in CREST Mathematics Olympiad.

• For level 1, the venue of the examination is their respective schools. Those students who are registered as an individual will have to take an exam from home or institute, having a computer with functional internet connectivity.
• The level 1 exam is an objective-type test having a duration of 60 minutes, comprising 35 objective-type questions for classes 1 to 4 and 50 objective-type questions for classes 5 to 10.
• For the level 2 exam, students of classes 3 to 10 are eligible. The eligible students for the second round would include the following points given below.
• The top 5% of candidates of each class who have given the level 1 exam are eligible.
• If in a particular class, a minimum of 10 students has secured 50% of qualifying marks, then the respective class topper will be eligible to give the level 2 exam.

Other Important Information

• There are separate question papers for every class.
• The medium of the exam is English.
• CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and other state board syllabus are followed for the set of test papers.
• The exam is conducted during school hours only.

• Visit the official website of the Crest Olympiad.
• Click CMO on available on the top bar.
• Under CMO, select "About CMO".
• On the left side of the "About CMO" page candidates can find the sample papers of the Maths Olympiad Exam.
• The sample paper page will contain CMO model test papers for classes 1 to 10.
• Select the respective section, and download the pdf file.
