CREST Mathematics Olympiad 2024

The CREST Mathematics Olympiad (CMO) is an international competitive exam held online for students of classes Prep/KG and classes 1-10. For students of classes Prep/KG and 1-2, CMO will be a single-level exam. For grades 3 to 10, CMO will be two levels exam. The exam is an objective-type test for 60 minutes duration. For students of class Prep/KG, the exam will be assisted by a parent/teacher, and the length of the CMO exam will be 45 minutes.

The exam consists of two sections practical mathematics and achievers section.

CMO is one of the best platforms for students to enhance their knowledge and showcase their talent. Based on the respective class syllabus, a separate exam will be conducted for every class once a year.

CMO 2024-25 Registration

Students can either register through schools or on their own. For registration of students through schools, students from classes Prep/KG and 1-10 should enroll their name and roll number to the school coordinator. A prospectus containing the registration forms is sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads. If your school is not registered with CREST Olympiad, students can also participate through individual registration.

For individual registration, students or parents should visit the official website and select register now. On the registration page, fill in all the mandatory details and submit the online registration form. The exam dates and admit card dates will be sent to the registered phone number and mail id through email or SMS. Students can refer to the sample paper available on the website.

CMO 2024-25 Registration Fee

For classes 1-10, the exam fee for each subject is Rs. 225, for students, studying and enrolling from India. For students studying and residing outside of India, the registration fee is $15 (US dollars).

For students of class Prep/KG, the exam fee for each subject is Rs. 225 for students studying and enrolling from India. For students studying and residing outside of India, the registration fee is $15 (US dollars).

CMO 2024-25 Recognition and Awards

For students of class Prep/KG appearing in CMO, the recognition is given below.

  • As these exams are parent/teacher assisted, there would be no ranks given to the students. Although, the students who achieve more than 60% in the exam will be awarded a merit certificate and medal.

For students of classes 1-2 appearing in CMO, the recognition is given below.

  • A merit certificate will be given to the top 25% of pupils.
  • Honorable mention digital certificates will be given to the top 26% – 50% of students.
  • A medal and a merit certificate will be given to the top 10% of students.
  • All students with a percentile of 96 or higher, as well as those with a zonal rank of 10 or less, will get a Gold Medal. Students with a percentile of 93 to 96 will receive a Silver Medal.
  • All pupils with a percentile of 91 to 93 will receive a bronze medal.
  • Every school with more than 25 pupils in a class taking an Olympiad exam will receive a merit certificate for the top three students (registered through school).
  • A digital participation certificate will be given to each participant. This will be available in the participant's dashboard.
  • A student will be eligible for a bigger prize if he or she meets two or more criteria.

For students of classes 3-10 appearing CMO, the recognition is given below.

  • A merit certificate will be provided to all students who qualify for the Level 2 exam and receive scores that are not in the bottom 10%.
  • All pupils with a percentile of 96 or higher, as well as those with a zonal rank of 10 or less, will get a gold medal.
  • All pupils with a percentile of 93 to 96 will receive a silver medal.
  • All pupils with a percentile of 91 to 93 will receive a bronze medal.
  • The Achiever's Trophy and Merit certificate will be presented to the top three students from classes 2-10 for CREST Olympiads and from grades 2-8 for CREST Spell Bee.
  • A digital participation certificate will be given to each participant. This will be available in the participant's dashboard.
