UPSC SCRA 2023 exam official notification will soon be released by the authorities. The exam is conducted mainly for Railway service recruitment. Aspiring candidates who are willing to work in the central government sector can take up the examination. The  UPSC SCRA 2023 recruitment process is conducted in three stages. The first stage is a written exam.

UPSC SCRA stands for Union Public Service Commission Special Class Railway Apprentices. Union Public Service Commission is a central-level body that is a delegated authority for various recruitment exams for civil servants in India.

About UPSC SCRA

It is a national level exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Special Class Railway Apprentice exam is conducted by UPSC for selecting students for the undergraduate program in mechanical engineering at Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur.

UPSC SCRA 2023 will be conducted offline. The UPSC SCRA 2023 Paper will be set for a total of 600 marks and will have objective type questions. Candidates will be provided 6 hours to complete the test. Qualifying candidates will be called for a Personal interview.

The application fee for candidates belonging to General Category and OBC is INR 100. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD need not pay any application fee.

The age of the aspiring candidate should not be less than 17 years and not more than 21 years. UPSC specifies age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST. And an age relaxation of 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC.
