Candidates who fulfil the UPSC CDS 2021 Eligibility Criteria can proceed for the online UPSC CDS Application process on the official website. Candidates must provide an email ID that is valid and active. All further communications will be sent to that mail Id and mobile number.

All applicants must fill the following details on the application form. Some important fields will appear with the asterisk (*) mark. Application form of UPSC CDS 2021 will be available in Hindi and English.

UPSC CDS 2021 Application Form Guidelines

  • The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS exam must fill the form after reading all the instructions given above and must know that the information should be accurate and in detail.

  • The candidates must upload a scanned passport sized photograph on the given space for Photograph.

  • Payable fees for the application is of Rs. 200 which can be paid via SBI Net Banking or by cash through SBI challan or by Credit/Debit Card. 

  • To pay the application fee in cash, applicants should take a printout of challan that was generated online after completing registration. Candidates may go to nearest SBI branch for depositing fee after 24 hours of generation of challan.
  • Remember "Pay by cash" mode option will be deactivated a day before the closing date.
  • The student is required to take a printout of the filled form after completing the Application process.

UPSC CDS 2021 Application Form - Fee and Payment

Application Fee

Candidates (except Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) who satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS Exam are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only).

The candidate may pay it either by depositing the money in

  • Any Branch of SBI by cash

  • By using net banking facility of SBI

  • By using Credit/Debit Card.

UPSC CDS 2021 Application Form - Contents

  • CDS Registration Part I: Applicants will be asked to fill their basic information such as name, parents name, nationality, category, email id, contact details, corresponding address etc and fields marked with a star or asterisk (*) is mandatory and the applicant cannot leave it empty.

  • CDS Registration Part II: Candidates will be paying the requisite application fee, as per their category, and exam centre. This fee can be paid by both online and offline mode.

  • Contact: Candidates need to have a Valid Email Id and Password for continuous contact.

  • Photograph and Signature: Candidates should upload the data in a specified format which are given below:

    • The scanned photo should be clear and it is better if it is in white background.

    • The signature should be written on a white paper by a black ball pen and it should be visible after scanning. The file should be in JPG format.

    • Dimensions for both photo and signature should be within 350x350 pixels to 1000x1000 pixels. The size of the scanned files should be between 20 KB and 300 KB.
