TNPSC Group 2 result 2023 for the Mains has been released on Jan 11, 2024. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has produced a list of roll numbers that have qualified for certification verification. TNPSC Group 2 result pdf was made available on the Commission's official website, tnpsc.gov.in.

Based on the results of the offline Main Written Examination, the Commission chose applicants in a 1:3 ratio for the posts included in the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Interview Posts) (Group-II Services). Candidates can view the TNPSC Group 2 result pdf here. On Feb 25, 2023, the Commission held the TNPSC Group 2 main exam.

The Commission will not reveal TNPSC Group 2 cutoff with the result since it will be released after the final result is declared. applicants selected for Group 2A services would be contacted directly for appointment, whereas applicants who applied for TNPSC Group 2 services will be contacted for an interview.

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of TNPSC.
  • Step 2: Click on the 'Results' tab. 
  • Step 3: Click on the latest results link.
  • Step 4: Click on the 'Posts Included in Combined Civil Services Examination - 2 (Group II Services)' link from the table.
  • Step 5: Click on the 'Written Exam Results' option.
  • Step 6: A new window will open. Enter the registration number of the candidate.
  • Step 7: Click the 'Submit' button.
  • Step 8: The result will be visible on the screen. The candidate can download and take a printout of the results.

How to Calculate TNPSC Group 2 2023 Marks

The candidate can know the right answers to the questions once the answer key is released. The students can calculate the marks based on the answers they have marked by following the marking scheme followed by the authority. The following should be noted while calculating the marks:

  • The total marks for the examination are 340.
  • The Main exam will be 300 marks and the oral exam will be of 40 marks.
  • For every correct answer, the candidate will get one mark.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for the candidates from all the communities will be 102.
  • There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers.
  • The candidates can sum up the total marks scored and fix their total marks scored out of the 300.
