Examination Level: This exam is conducted on the National level. Due to its National Level approach this test is taken by a large no. of students who want to join this organization as their priority.
Headquarters: The headquarters of SSC is located in New Delhi and SSC has 6 regional offices located in Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
Scope: There are total 7 posts under the SSC CPO Exam:

Stages: The exam will be conducted in three stages. If the candidate is qualifying the first level then the candidate will be eligible for 2nd test i.e physical test. If one clears the Physical test, the candidate has to appear for another written exam. Both the exams are MCQs based.

Pay scale: Sub-inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPF carries a pay scale of Level 6 (Rs.34400-112400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted) by Delhi Police.
Promotions and career progression: The first promotion will be given after 7-8 years. Departmental exams and seniority come into play for promotion.
Application form: The application form window for SSC CPO 2019 exam was open from 3rd March 2019 to 13th April 2019.
Date of Examination: The SSC CPO 2019 examination will be conducted on 30th May 2019.
Job Posts: SSC CPO 2018 Exam will be conducted for SI in Delhi Police and CAPF and ASI in CISF Posts.
Vacancies: The Total number of vacancies is over 1300 in 2019. Reservations are provided for SC/ST and OBC candidates and Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from Recognized Board of Education.
Age Limit: The candidates must be between 20-25 years on the age cut off date.
There are two MCQ tests conducted for SSC CPO Paper I and Paper II:
SSC CPO 2018 Paper I has 4 major sections - General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude & English Comprehension.
SSC CPO 2018 Paper II has only 1 exam and that is the English Language.
Structure: The SSC CPO 2019 examination will be done only in offline mode with a paper and pen-based test. There will be two stages of the exam - Paper I and Paper II. Questions on both the papers will be Objective Multiple Choice Type. The duration is 2 hours for both the papers. The Questions will be set in both English and Hindi.
Post-exam: After you qualify both the Papers, you will need to go through a mandatory Physical Endurance Test.
Mode: Candidate can fill the application form for the SSC CPO 2019 Exam at www.ssc.nic.in. The Application Form window was between 3rd March 2019 and 13th April 2019.
Application payment process: Payment of INR 100 as application fee can be made Online or through an SBI Challan/Net Banking. Any credit and debit card payment is also accepted.
Availability: Candidates who applied for SSC CPO 2019 exam will be able to download their admit card online from the official website that is www.ssc.nic.in from 15th May 2019.
Download: The candidates will have to submit their application number, date of birth and security pin to download SSC CPO 2019 admit card.

Date: SSC CPO 2019 Exam Results is expected to be announced on 10th January 2020.
Stationery: Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationary item with them. Pens will be provided in the venue.
Electronics: No Electronic items are allowed in the exam hall such as mobile phone, calculator, Bluetooth devices, earphone & even paper & paper bags are also not allowed.
Admit Card: Candidates should carry admit card with them in the exam centres and have to show the admit card during the examination to the Supervisors.
Note: If the candidate fails to bring Admit Card then he/she will not be permitted to write the exam under any condition. In a case of any errors in the admit card details, the candidate should immediately report to the Regional Director.
Shifts: If the candidate is appearing for the exam in more than one shifts, He/she will be debarred from appearing for the SSC CPO exam for the next 3 years.
Exam Centres: Candidates are only allowed to write exams in centres allocated to them.
Signatures: For the candidate's signature, biometric machines will be used to take thumb impression of the candidates. Thumb impressions are collected at the Registration Desk. Along with the thumb impression, a Photo will be clicked.
Mock Exams: Provision for online mock exams will be provided. Practising these will help the candidate to get used to the examination pattern and manage the timings better.

The tentative date of start of the Application Process is 3rd March 2019 and the expected date of conclusion of the Application process is 13th April 2019.
The SSC CPO 2019 Admit Card will be released in the month of May 2019 for Prelims and in the month of September/ October 2019.
The SSC CPO Exam final results are expected to be delivered in the month of January 2020.
The candidates should read the Eligibility Criteria before applying for the SSC CPO 2019 Exam. This is advised to save time and money of the candidate.
The candidates who have a Degree in any stream from a recognized University or Institution are eligible to apply for the SSC CPO Exam 2019.
The candidates who are in between the ages of 20 years and 25 years as on 01/08/2019 are eligible to apply.
The SSC CPO 2019 Application process can be filled on the official website of the SSC.
The candidates have to keep the documents like the passport-sized photograph and the signature ready before starting to fill the SSC CPO Application Form.
The candidates have to pay the fee through offline or via online mode. Without paying the fee, the Application Form of the candidate will not be considered complete.
The candidates have to fill the Application form for the SSC CPO 2019 before the last date i.e. 13th April 2019.
The candidates should ensure that the details they fill in the application form are true to their knowledge.
The payment can be made through the Online and Offline mode. The payment through the Offline mode i.e. SBI eChallan takes a few days to get processed.
The candidates will be able to download the SSC CPO Admit Card 2019 from the official website on 15th May 2019.
The candidates should carry the Admit card with them at the venue of the examination on the examination date.
The candidates should accompany the Admit Card with a valid Photo ID proof at the time of the examination.
The candidates have to give the SSC CPO Exam 2019 in 3 stages namely
Physical Entrance Test (PET)
The written exams will be having a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer given by the candidate.
The Paper-II of SSC CPO Exam 2019 will have no sectional cut-off.
The candidates must go through the syllabus before starting the preparation for the SSC CPO Exam 2019 to save time and smart study.
The syllabus can get modified. When it does, the candidate will get the notification about that on the registered mobile number.

The results of the SSC CPO 2019 Tier-II Exam will be declared on 10th January 2020.
The SSC CPO Results 2019 will be declared in the form of a Merit list. The candidates who have their names in this merit list are free to advance to the next stage.
