RRB Group D 2023 Revised Eligibility Criteria
As per the notice dated Apr 7, 2022, EWS certificate issued after the date of notification will also be considered valid on the date of document verification. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, the number of candidates to be called for Document Verification (DV) shall henceforth be equal to the number of notified vacancies
The conducting body revised the eligibility requirements for future RRB Group D exam applicants. The latest requirements for a candidate to be eligible are as follows.
- The candidate must have passed class X and have the National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) or have passed ITI to be eligible for the technical departments.
RRB 2023 Group D Eligibility by Citizenship
Interested candidates should hold citizenship of any of the following.
- An indian citizen
- A subject of nepal
- A subject of bhutan, or
- A tibetan refugee (Who came to india before jan 1, 1962, with the intention of settling in india permanently)
RRB 2023 Group D Eligibility by Age Limit
The age limit for candidates to appear for RRB 2023 Group D is mentioned below.
Minimum Age: The candidate should be at least 18 years of age.
Maximum Age: The candidate should not be more than 31 years of age.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification required for RRB Group D exam is mentioned below:
- The candidate should be have passed class X, or ITI from any institution recognized by NCVT/ SCVT/ or equivalent, or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
- Candidates who are awaiting their final examination result cannot apply for the RRB 2023 Group D.
- If the candidate has completed Diploma/ Engineering, the application will not be accepted.
RRB 2023 Group D Eligibility by Medical Standards
The medical standards set by RRB group D exam are:
- Candidates need to have a Distance vision of 6/9, 6/12, 6/18 according to the post you are applying for.
- Candidates need to be generally fit in all physical aspects.
- These Medical Standards are applicable for various posts having different standards as A2, B1, B2 & C1.
