LIC AAO Online Application Form 2023: Fees, Steps

LIC AAO Online Application Form 2023 was released on the official website. All aspirants had to satisfy all the framed LIC AAO 2023 exam eligibility criteria before proceeding to the application form. LIC AAO online application form 2023 is currently closed. The application process dates for the upcoming exam will be announced by the authorities soon.

LIC AAO Online Application Form 2023

The candidates who are eligible based on the criteria should follow the following steps to apply for the desired post.

• Step 1: For filling the LIC AAO recruitment 2023 application form, candidates can visit the official website.
• Step 2: Click on the "Careers" link which opens to the page where the "Recruitment of AE/AA/AAO" link is available. The link is directed to the page for online registration.
• Step 3: Click on the "Click here for New Registration" tab and fill in the form with the correct details such as name, contact number and email address. 
• Step 4: The applicant will receive a Provisional Registration Number and password which should be noted down as it is required to access the application form. 
• Step 5: Candidates must have their photo and signature scanned before they proceed with the LIC AAO application form.
• Step 6: The online application is submitted in two parts i.e. Part 1 & Part 2.
• Step 7: In part 1 of the LIC online application form, all aspirants should submit their details such as their name, parents’ name, date of birth, educational qualification, nationality, class/ community, contact details etc.
• Step 8: In part 2 of the application form, candidates are asked to submit a scanned photo and signature along with the payment of the application fee. Payment can be done online using either credit cards, debit cards, net banking or any other acceptable mode.
• Step 9: After making the payment of the online application fee, the application form is submitted.
• Step 10: Before filling the application form, one must check the LIC AAO eligibility.

LIC AAO Application Form 2023 Guidelines

Before applying, a candidate should have a scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned below.

Photograph Image

• The photograph must be a recent passport-size color photo. One must make sure that the picture is taken against a light-colored, preferably white background.
• If one has to use flash, ensure there is no "red-eye"
• If you wear spectacles, ensure there are no reflections and your eyes can be seen clearly. Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is acceptable only if it does not cover the candidate's face. Dimensions must be 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) and the size of the file should be between 20kb–50 kb.
• If the photo is not uploaded at the correct place, the LIC AAO application form is rejected/ denied. LIC cannot be held responsible for the occurrence of such cases.
• All applicants should also ensure that the photo is uploaded the photo and signature at the appropriate place and that the photo uploaded is of the required size and the face is clear. The applicant has to sign on white paper with a black ink pen.

Details Regarding Thumb Impression

• All applicants have to put their left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink. Each applicant has to write a declaration statement in English clearly on white paper with black ink. The signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration should belong to the applicant only.
• If the applicant’s signature on the call letter, signed at the time of the LIC AAO examination, does not match the signature uploaded, the applicant will be disqualified. The signature/ hand-written declaration must not be in capital letters.

Signature

• The signature image should be in JPG format, with the dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred). The size of the file should be between 10kb-20kb.

Left Thumb Impression

• The applicant has to put their left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink. The file type should be JPG/ JPEG. The dimensions must be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (preferred for required quality) i.e., 3 cm * 3 cm (width * height). The file size should between 20 KB – 50 KB.

Handwritten Declaration

• The handwritten document must be as expected and the file must be between 50 KB-100KB. It must not be in capital letters. The format of the file must be in JPG/ JPEG.

LIC AAO Online Application Form 2023 - Scanning the Documents

• One has to keep the scanner resolution at 200 dpi (dots per inch). Set colour to 'True Colour'.
• Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the left thumb impression/handwritten declaration, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size mentioned above.
• Image dimensions must be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. Those aspirants using MS Windows/ MS Office can easily obtain documents in JPEG format by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager.
• Scanned documents in any format can be saved in JPG/ JPEG format by using the ‘Save As’ option in the File menu. The size can be adjusted by using the crop and resize options available.

Procedure for Uploading the Documents

• While filling in the LIC AAO Online Application Form 2023 all aspirants are provided with separate links for uploading left thumb impressions and handwritten declarations. 
• Click on the respective links and select “Upload left thumb impression/ handwritten declaration”. Browse and select the location where the scanned left thumb impression/ handwritten declaration file has been saved.
• Select the file by clicking on it
• Click the ‘Open/ Upload’ button Your LIC AAO 2023 application will not be registered unless you upload your left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as specified.
• The preview option of the uploaded image helps one to see the quality of the image. In the case of unclear/ smudged images, the same may be re-uploaded to the expected clarity/ quality.
