About LIC AAO Exam 2023

About LIC AAO: LIC AAO full form is Life Insurance Corporation Assistant Administrative Officer. It is a national level examination for the recruitment of officers to various posts which is conducted once every year to recruit aspiring candidates. The examination is conducted in two languages, English and Hindi. The recruitment process has three stages. The first stage is preliminary which have objective-type, multiple-choice questions. The second stage is mains which is descriptive type questions. Third and final stage is the personal interview.

Candidates must ensure that they are satisfying all the LIC AAO eligibility criteria as specified in the eligibility criteria set by the Life Insurance Corporation before registering for the LIC AAO exam. The LIC AAO 2023 Application Process is as follows.

  • Candidates have to provide their DOB, Aadhar Card number, other personal, academic and work details while filling the application form and also should upload their scanned image of recent passport size photographs and signatures in JPE or JPEG format only.
  • Only after successful fee payment, a candidate's LIC AAO application process is complete.
  • Registration ID and password are generated and notified to the candidates through email and SMS. This remains as the login credentials for the candidate till the recruitment process is over.

LIC AAO 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates applying for the post of LIC AAO must have a good idea about the pattern of both the LIC AAO Preliminary and Main exams. The LIC AAO 2023 recruitment has 3 levels and it is mandatory for students to successfully clear the cut off of each section to be qualified to the next round.

  • Preliminary: Comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 70 Marks
  • Mains: 300 (Objective) + 25 Marks (Descriptive)
  • Personal Interview: 30 Marks

Exam Duration: The duration of the LIC AAO 2023 preliminary exam is 60 minutes and the duration of the LIC AAO 2023 main exam is 150 minutes i.e., 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Marking Scheme: Mark awarded for each correct answer in both preliminary and main exams is 1 mark and 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. There is no negative marking for the descriptive paper of the main exam. Analyzing the LIC AAO exam pattern can help the candidate to prepare well for the exam in advance.

The preliminary exam consists of 3 sections and the maximum marks are 70. The exam is conducted for 1 hour. There is a sectional time limit of 20 minutes for each section. LIC AAO 2023 Recruitment

The LIC AAO exam 2023 recruitment process involves three stages and a Pre-recruitment Medical examination. The main three stages are as follows.
