APPSC Group 1 2025 Mains Exam Date is out! The phase 2 exam will be held on May 3-9, 2025. The admit card for the same will be released in the third week of April 2025. About the APPSC Group 1 Exam
APPSC Exam stands for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Examination. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed on 1 November 1956. The APPSC was formerly named the Andhra Service Commission, which was initially based on the regulations of the Madras Public Service Commission.
In 2014, according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, the APPSC was divided into two separate bodies - the APPSC for Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) for the Telangana State.

How to apply for the APPSC Group 1 Exam?
To access the APPSC Group 1 2025 exam application form, the candidates are required to have an OTPR ID. Candidates who do not have and OTPR ID can follow these steps as mentioned below to generate their OTPR IDs:
- Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of the APPSC.
- Step 2: They must click on "Modify OTPR ID"
- Step 3: Now they need to click on "New Registration"
- Step 4: Fill in all the details required in the next window.
- Step 5: Upload an image or a scanned copy of your recent passport-sized photograph, of file size not more than 50 KB in the JPEG format, with dimensions - 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm
- Step 6: Upload a scanned copy of your signature, of file size not more than 30 KB in the JPEG format, with dimensions - 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm
