APPSC Group 1 Syllabus 2025: Prelims and Mains Chapter-wise Topics

APPSC Group 1 Syllabus 2025 helps the candidates to know the topics and ensure that they are well prepared for the exam. The APPSC Group 1 syllabus 2025 and exam pattern have been made available by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) separately for both prelims and mains paper. The applicants are advised to check the exam pattern and marking scheme carefully before attempting the exam.

Candidates should be aware that the exam pattern and syllabus are the same for all APPSC Group 1 posts. Except for the language papers, which are available in both Telugu and English, the exam paper and syllabus are available in both languages.

APPSC Group 1 2025 Exam Phases

The three stages of the APPSC Group 1 Exam are the Preliminary/Screening Test, the Main Examination, and the Interview. Before starting their exam preparation, applicants must make sure they have read through the APPSC Group 1 syllabus and exam pattern. There are three stages to the selection process that apply to all of the Group 1 positions.

APPSC Group 1 Prelims Syllabus

The prelims syllabus for APPSC Group 1 has two papers, Paper 1 - General Studies and Paper 2 - General Aptitude. It been listed below for the reference of the candidates.

APPSC Group 1 Mains Syllabus

The seven papers that make up the APPSC Group 1 syllabus for the main exam are English, Telugu, Papers I, II, III, IV and V.

• Paper I - General Essay is the basis. It will be for 120 minutes and include 120 questions.
• Paper II - The history, culture, and geography of India and Andhra Pradesh are the topics.
• Paper III - Politics, government, law, and ethics are the topics.
• Paper IV - The economy and development of India and Andhra Pradesh are the topics.
• Paper V - Technology and science are covered in this paper.
