AISSEE 2024 counselling registration is ongoing. The last date to register for the counselling session is Mar 31, 2024. The registration began on Mar 15, 2024. Moreover, the seat allotment process for the counselling will begin from Apr 6, 2024.

The result was released on Mar 13, 2024 and the final answer key was released on Mar 12, 2024. Candidates could download AISSEE final answer key PDFs from the official portal at exams.nta.ac.in. Students must secure 25% in each section and 40% aggregate in the exam to avail of admission to classes 9th and 6th. AISSEE result 2024 will be released in Mar 2024 on the official website.

AISSEE 2024 counselling registration for class 6 and 9 is in process and will last till Mar 31, 2024. The registration is ongoing on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. The registration process started on Mar 15, 2024.

AISSEE 2024 Result

AISSEE 2024 result has been released on the official website on Mar 13, 2024. After the publication of the written merit list, the Sainik School Society will invite the qualified candidates through official call letters for the following process, i.e., the interview and the medicals.

AISSEE written exam result 2024 has been made available on the official website of Sainik School Admissions, and the aspirants can log in to their candidate portals to view the results. Candidates must enter the login credentials to access their account and display the status of their application along with the official publication of the results.

AISSEE Answer Key 2024

AISSEE 2024 final answer key was released on Mar 12,  2024, on the official website after considering the objections raised by the candidates. Candidates can use the final answer key to calculate their scores in the exam. NTA will declare the exam results based on the final answer key.

Earlier, AISSEE provisional answer key objection window was active till Feb 27, 2024 (5:30 PM). Those who appeared for the exam were able to check and raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying a fee of INR 100 per question. The answer key objection window was active on the official website for 2 days. The AISSEE answer key 2024 was released for students on Feb 26, 2024, along with the OMR sheets of the candidates.

About AISSEE Exam

The Sainik School Society conducts all India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) for candidates aspiring to pursue education, which would help them get into National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, and other officer training academies. There are 31 Sainik Schools nationwide, with some more schools in the proposal. 

About 25% of candidates entering the National Defense Academy are from Sainik schools yearly. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense, the Sainik School Society, being an autonomous organization, has set up these schools around the country, intending to educate the students in a simulated military environment.

AISSEE Eligibility 2024

It is essential for candidates aspiring to attempt AISSEE 2024 to carefully go through the eligibility criteria defined by the organizing authorities. Following are the criteria the Sainik School Society set for the AISSEE entrance examination 2024.

  • AISSEE exam will be held for admission to classes 6 & 9. Students between 10 to 12 (both girls and boys) and 13 to 15 (only boys), as of Mar 31, 2024, are eligible to take the entrance exam for classes 6 & 9, respectively.
  • The boys must have passed class 8 from a recognized school for admission to class 9. Admission will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes 6 and 9.

AISSEE Application Form 2024

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the AISSEE application form 2024 on the official website on Oct 21, 2023. The last date to register for the exam has been extended till Dec 20, 2023. Candidates must apply by entering their personal and essential information like phone number, email address, locality, basic education details, etc. They must also upload their scanned photographs and signature in the respective forms.

The exam centre will depend on the choice preferred by the candidate depending on the nearest exam centre. Candidates must pay the application registration fee before the last date. Candidates can change their information on the form through AISSEE application form 2024 correction facility between Dec 22 - Dec 24, 2023.

How to Apply for AISSEE 2024?

The applicants must apply on the AISSEE official website before Dec 20, 2023. They must follow the steps given below to complete the application process.

Uploading of Photo and Signature

  • Candidates need to upload their recent coloured passport-size photograph and signature on the panel.
  • Printing the application form will not be possible without uploading the photograph and signature; the photograph and signature must be less than 1 MB.

After successful registration, candidates must choose the payment option. Candidates could submit the admission fee online through credit card, debit card, and net banking.

AISSEE Exam Pattern 2024

The AISSEE exam will be conducted offline using the OMR sheet. Candidates are advised to understand the exam pattern for AISSEE 2024 carefully to avoid unnecessary mistakes. The entrance exam consists of two sections, specifically paper I and II.

AISSEE Preparation Tips 2024

The preparation tips for students who intend to appear for AISSEE 2024 are as follows.

  • Students must go through the AISSEE exam pattern and syllabus and gather all the required study materials, textbooks that include all the essential topics, and the previous year's question papers.
  • Set a timetable and follow it religiously. The students must keep attempting sample papers and other question papers to know the frequently asked questions and the question paper pattern.
  • Read the newspapers regularly and stay updated with current affairs to perform well in the general knowledge section.

AISSEE Cut Off 2024

AISSEE 2024 cut-off marks are decided by the conducting body based on certain factors. The cut-off marks change every year depending on these factors. The minimum qualifying marks differ from the cut-off marks. The factors that determine the cut-off marks every year are given below.

AISSEE Selection Process 2024 

The minimum qualifying marks for General category candidates and Children of Defense Services personnel and veterans will be 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate unless these qualifying standards are revised or amended by the issue of written directions by the honorary Secretary.

For Scheduled castes and tribes candidates, minimum qualifying standards are not required. They will be admitted based on their merit in the entrance examination within these categories. 

Interview

The Sainik School Society invites merit-qualified candidates to appear for the interview in the next round of the selection process. The candidates are invited through the admissions department's official call-up letters. 
The interview process is designed in an SSB pattern, where the candidate will be evaluated on several grounds, from aptitude and knowledge to communication skills.

Medical Exam

Candidates successful in qualifying for the medical examinations will receive a final call-up letter for their admissions. However, before admissions, the candidates must undergo a medical examination by the military hospitals as prescribed by the Sainik School Society. The candidates will be screened for physical ailments that would hamper their performance and health in the academy.
The final admissions list with the candidates' names and roll numbers will be out soon after the exam. The list will consist of candidates on the waitlist for admission.

Reservation

The reservations for the different categories are provided below.

  • Scheduled Caste - 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes -  7.5% 
  • Children of service personnel, including veterans - 25% 
  • Children from the home state - 67% 
  • Other states and Union Territories - 33%
