Admission Process :-

This is a six part process to assess the candidates’ suitability for the program. The candidates are assessed for their current level of skills to determine their ability to cope with the programme. In addition to this, it also provides valuable inputs to the candidates’ personality profile, thus enabling the interviewers to counsel the applicants about their chosen professional path. This process also creates an initial benchmark of basic skills which is used to provide inputs to each applicant that are useful for their future development.

For Business Programmes

The Selection Process consists of a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate through a series of tests and a personal interview as under:-

Personality Assessment Test : The selection process begins with a psychometric test to identify candidates’ personality traits and interest areas. The test report helps determine the profession/sub profession best suited for the candidate and where he/ she is most likely to succeed in the professional career.

Communication Ability Test : It evaluates candidates’ proficiency in English communication skills, which includes reading, writing and speaking skills. Since the communication skills status is an important aspect to determine the candidates’ employability in the industry, its assessment inputs are vital to decide on their traineeship category.

IQ Test : The test is designed to measure the students’ brainpower and cognitive ability. It evaluates the students’ ability to comprehend simple mathematical equations, analogies, patterns and visualizations etc. It follows the standard norms to judge the candidates’ IQ.

General Knowledge Test : It assesses the candidate’ general awareness of various aspects including Geography, History, Politics, Science and literature etc. It also evaluates his/her knowledge of current events.

Personal Interview : The personal interview is a detailed assessment of candidates’ suitability to join the course. He / She is assessed on Competence, Focus Energy, basic knowledge of management and clarity of thought. During the personal interview, the above mentioned test results, especially the psychometric test report are discussed with the candidate along with his/her suitability for a profession and the traineeship category he/she is placed in.

Post Interview Counselling : At the stage, the candidate is given detailed information on the career pathways, fee structure and the fee payment plan. The candidate is also given an opportunity to clarify any doubt regarding the course and the institute.

For Creative Programmes

The selection process follows a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate through a Creative Aptitude Test and Personal Interview in order to ascertain his/her aptitude and suitability for the course.

Creative Aptitude Test : The Creative Aptitude Test aims to assess the candidate’s creative aptitude and ability in their respective fields. The test is administered to assess specific skills of the candidates such as power of observation, innovation design and drawing abilities. An important aspect of the test is to assess the candidate’s usage of color and illustration. Candidates are tested for general knowledge pertaining to their field of interest. The candidate’s performance in this test is an important factor to ascertain his/her suitability for the course.

Personal Interview : The personal interview is a detailed assessment of the candidate’s suitability to join the course. He/She is assessed on creative ability (Portfolio, Hand Skills/Writing Skills), Grooming, Communication Skills and attitude. During the personal interview, the student’s portfolio and creative Aptitude tests are discussed.

Post Interview Counselling : At this stage, the candidate is given detailed information of the career pathways, fee structure and the payment plan. The candidate is also given opportunity to clarify any doubt regarding the course and the institution.
