Rules for Admission Cancellation and Refunds
- Pre-Cutoff Cancellations
If a student cancels their admission before the official DTE Maharashtra cut-off date, the institute must refund the entire fee collected. A non-refundable INR 1,000 is deducted as a processing charge.
- Post-Cut-off Cancellations
Cancellations made after the official cut-off date for 2026 result in zero refund of tuition and development fees. Only the "Caution Money Deposit" (INR 5,000) is refundable in this scenario.
- Year-Down/Backlog Refund
For second, third, or fourth-year students who pay fees but are subsequently found ineligible for the academic year due to critical backlogs, VIIT refunds the paid amount as per the state government's specialized rules for professional institutes.
