Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is a semi-metropolitan University set up in 1965. The college has been licensed by NAAC with an 'A' grade.​ It has 34 Government, 60 Grant-in-guide and 285 Self-financed Colleges and 100 Postgraduate Teaching Centers connected to associated schools. VNSGU offers Science, Arts, Engineering, Management, Commerce courses under different controls. Admission to these courses is simply made based on merit scored in the higher senior auxiliary assessment.
