The entrance exam for MBA in VEC is TANCET and also you can join directly in management quota. The admission procedure was through counselling and direct admission.
The eligibility criteria to join MBA in VEC was a UG degree with 55-60%.
The typical cut off for MBA in VEC was to score above 30-40 in TANCET (based upon your caste).

When I joined there weren't any entrance exams but they would ask you for your 12TH AGGREGATE and would give the admission. The eligibility criteria is that you must have completed 12th class/diploma with a decent percentage (say 75%+). The typical cutoff is around 170/200 for MECHANICAL course. One can also join through ANNA UNIVERSITY'S COUNSELLING.

HSC or +2 score above college prescribed cut off is the eligibility criteria for admission and there is no other entrance exam.
For EIE in Valliammai Engineering college, cutoff varies based on the case and for open competition. Usually, cut off is nearly 185.

The eligibility criteria for admission into the college is via counseling through Anna University. No special entrance exams were taken other than HSC. When I entered this college, my Engineering cutoff was nearly 194.75. Now anywhere near this cutoff might be good to get a dream stream.

I got 195.5 cut-offs and I got admission in this college. I choose this because it is one of the top engineering colleges in Tamilnadu. I like the mechanical department and this college has the best placement training and facility. This college gives full freedom to students.
