UPL University of Sustainable Technology was established in 2011 and is the best-emerging university in Gujarat as a Private University situated on Ankleshwar-Valia road, Ta. Valia, Dist. Bharuch. The institute has also developed two special industry-focused courses. They offer courses in the Engineering Department like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Chemical Technology and Environmental Science & Technology.

UPL University of Sustainable Technology has been established by inclusion in the Schedule vide Section 3 (8) of Gujarat Private University Act 2009. UPL University of Sustainable Technology has been established by the Ankleshwar Rotary Education Society (ARES) to place Gujarat and India as one of the best education places in the World. The journey of UPL University of Sustainable Technology started way back in 2011 with the establishment of Shroff S.R.Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology (SRICT) conducting UG (B.E.) courses in engineering in affiliation with GTU and approval of AICTE, New Delhi.

BE Eligibility Criteria

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. 
• Qualifying Examination i.e. HSC with 45 % (40 % for reserved categories like SEBC/SC/ST) and GUJCET is the minimum eligibility

ME Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.TECH. in Chemical Engineering/ Technology or Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology Biotechnology or Environment Science & Technology or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ ST/SEBC candidates) at the qualifying examination.
• Qualifying Examination i.e. BE/B. Tech with 55 % (50 % for reserved categories like SEBC/SC/ ST) and GUJCET is the minimum eligibility
