University of Jammu is spread over 118.70 acres with modern amenities. It provides state of the art facilities and enormous opportunities for students to develop and grow. Internet Facilities: All users in the university, including teaching, administrative personnel, hostels, and students, have access to the internet 24x7.

Library: The University of Jammu library has 4,66,656 rare and recent volumes 276 current magazines with back numbers. It also gives access to various online journals. The library has photocopiers, LCD projectors, INFLIBNET, CD-ROM databases, and interconnected computer terminals. In addition, it has Radio Frequency Identifying (RFID), an automatic identification system that uses RFID tags or transponders to store and retrieve data remotely. An RFID tag is a small technology that can be affixed to or integrated into a product, such as a book. RFID tags are equipped with silicon chips and antennae that allow them to receive and reply to radio-frequency inquiries sent by an RFID transceiver.

Computer Centre: The university has an outstanding IT team and infrastructure recognising the crucial importance of computer networking. The University of Jammu campus has a vast computer network with a mandate to link all the computing resources located in different departments, centres, and other buildings for easy and effective access by the university community comprising faculty, scientific and research personnel, students, and staff.

Health Centre: Jammu University has a health centre with enormous facilities such as various equipment, beds, sanitary staff, ambulance, drivers, and many more. It provides several treatments to students, faculty, and staff. The following treatment and types of equipment are:

Hostel

• The University of Jammu has five hostels, three for boys and two for ladies.
• The hostels are well-kept, clean, and equipped with various amenities to make boarders' lives more pleasurable and enjoyable. Each University of Jammu hostel room is highly ventilated and airy. 
• Only a few rooms in each hostel have a single seated capacity, whereas the vast majority have a double-seated capacity. There is a large lush green expansive lawn in front and behind each hostel. 
• Each hostel has a telephone, sports facilities, aquaguard drinking water, refrigerators, water coolers, television, modern cooking gas plant, geysers installed, and reasonably priced mess charges. 
• Good reading areas with the latest career and knowledge promoting publications, well-furnished guest rooms, and necessary first aid is accessible in each hostel.

Canteen: The Jammu University has two main cafeterias besides many corner canteens and eating points. These cafeterias serve hygienic and quality food at competitive prices. The eating points are near the science and law blocks and the general zorawar singh auditorium.

Yoga Centre: The campus has a yoga centre for students, staff, citizens, and scholars. This centre organises meditation camps twice a year, and special yoga classes for children are being organised during summer vacation.

Gymnasium: Jammu University has three gyms, each fully equipped with machines. The instructor is allotted to each gym for guidance.

Residential Facility: The University of Jammu houses two residential campuses. One residential facility is located in the new campus, and the other residential facilities are in the old campus at Canal Road, Jammu. Both residential campuses are airy, located in the city's heart, and are easily accessible by local transport. Jammu University’s campus provides accommodation for teaching faculty, non-teaching, and other staff.

Staff Quarter: The University of Jammu campus provides residential facilities for teaching and non-teaching employees. There are 224 housing units comprising 89 units for the teachers and the officers, 71 units for the non-teaching employees, and 64 units for the class IVth. The accommodations are available on the new and old campuses.

Auditorium: The university has an incredibly massive auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 1500, and it is divided into two parts: the main auditorium with a capacity of more than 1000, and a mini auditorium - with its acoustic, hydraulic stage, sliding-folding partition - with a seating capacity of about 500. 

Guest House: University of Jammu infrastructure consists of guest houses. The guest house consists of air-conditioned rooms with television, telephone, and attached washrooms and 12 air-cooled rooms with television and attached washrooms. There are 18 rooms in the guest house.

Security: The University of Jammu has installed unified threat management (UTM) system (cyberoam), which consists of gateway anti-virus, firewall, anti-spam, web and application filters, intrusion detection, and prevention capabilities into a single platform. 

Green House: Jammu University facilities include a nursery and a greenhouse for seasonal seedlings and other species and plants for plantation and replenishment. It has species according to areas that have been planted with the following creepers, shrubs, and trees, including edges and hedges.
