• Register by filling your Name, Email, Contact Number and City

The process following Registration requires you to download the e-Prospectus made available after the candidate’s successful registration. The e-Prospectus includes the application form admission and to appear for the entrance test.

• Fill the application form available after you log in to your profile

Reservation of Seats in UG Program

Seat allocation is done by reservation policy and the institute adheres under PU. The seat accommodation reservations are given below.

• CAPF was previously known as Para- Military forces which include AR, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITEBP, NSG, SSB, and so on. The full form of these acronyms can be found online.
• PwD - Person with Disability claiming category candidates should be capable of pursuing the sought program. As per section 2r of the RPWD Act 2016, a person with a benchmark disability should have a minimum of 40% disability certified by the recognized medical boards. Verification of the medical certificate will take place and if found fraudulent to attain privilege meant for PwD shall be punished under apposite law under violation of admission policy by the Chandigarh University (CU).
• The default category of any applicant is a general category and failing to provide sufficient documents and mentioning of the category will overthrow a candidate as a general category and further admission procedure will be conducted based on the same. Any changes required for the change of category of the applicant need to be brought to university attention as soon as possible. The candidate might lose the benefits given to the reserved categories.
• Students falling under the sports quota can apply for scholarships for additional advantage.

Counseling for Admission via CUCET Common Admissions

Candidates who got allotted a seat via merit list need to appear for the counseling rounds and verify documents and other detailed procedures for admission and follow the same. Candidates who are on the waiting list need to appear in person on the notified dates of counseling for an interactive discussion with the Board of the committee of UITHM. For Counselling of students selected in the merit list, candidates need to carry the print of the filled admission form with necessary original certificates to verify the following:

• Birth Certificate.
• Qualifying examination transcripts.
• Applicable category certificate.
• CUCET merit result.
• Requisite fee amount notified.

For counseling of students on the waiting list, the names of the students in the top of the waiting list are considered for seat allocation. Incase of Students who attained late results (results after revaluation of marks) and scored higher than the candidates on the waiting list, those students are given priority. Students on the waiting list who fall under the reserved category are considered to top the list given the reserved category vacancy is available.
