They should have completed a professional qualification with 50% aggregate or CGPA of 5.50 on a 10 point scale or they should have qualified CA/ ICWA/ CS/ CFA or
They should have completed BE/ B.Tech with 60% aggregate or CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in teaching/ research/ industry experience
Candidates should qualify the college's entrance test

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, [TIET] Patiala provides scholarships to its students
30% waiver on tuition fees will be offered for the candidates who are full-time faculty or teacher in any educational institution or a government employee

Fellowships:

1st Year	Candidates must be in the top 4 in the final merit list of selection	30,000/- PM
2nd Year	Candidates receiving the fellowship in 1st year are eligible They should secure a minimum of 8 CGPA throughout the course	35,000/- PM
3rd Year		40,000/- PM
4th Year		40,000/- PM
