Tezpur College, Tezpur Infrastructure: Library, Gym, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

Hostel:

There are two hostels for women students of the Tezpur College within the college premises. The total number of students accommodation in the hostels is 60 at present. Boarders are provided with modern amenities like 24 hours running water, Television, indoor and outdoor games facilities, news paper, power backup etc.

Coaching Classes for Entry in Service Scheme :

The well being and development of the SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and Minorities are important in directors of the strength and success of a democratic society. The UGC has introduced coaching classes for entry in services scheme to improve the status of these groups, socially and educationally, so that they can take their rightful place in society through representation of them in All India/State/Provincial Services and equivalent positions in private sector.

Scouts and Guide / NSS / NCC :

The College has full fledged wing for Scouts and Guide for students.

There is an N.S.S. Unit in the College, which organizes a number of activities including campus in rural areas exposing the students to social service.

A wing of national Cadet Corps for girls is run in the college. The NCC for boys will be started very soon.

Gymnasium :

The full fledged gymnasium is set up at the College premises. All the instruments are installed at gymnasium with financial assistance from the UGC both students and teachers regularly visited the gymnasium.

Computer Centre:

The Tezpur College Computer Centre Education Centre is conducting various courses for students at a nominal fee.
