The selection to any of the MBA courses at SIBM is based on the entrance examination conducted by the institute called Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) followed by Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) whereas to MBA-Executive and PGDM is the personal interaction along with an entrance test conducted by the institute.

The admission to Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is based on the SNAP Test conducted by the institute. Therefore, the applicant is first required to register for SNAP by following the given steps:
Step1: Register for SNAP Test: Candidates can fill up the registration form, enter OTP and validate the mobile number.
Step2: Make Payment for SNAP Test: Candidates can pay the SNAP Test registration fee of INR 1750/- per test from September 24, 2020, to 28 November 2020.
Step3: Register for Institute programme: Eligible candidates can fill up the registration form part 2.
Step4: Make Payment: Applicants can make payments for the course they have opted.

Note: Programme registration fee, as well as SNAP Test registration fee, is non-refundable and non-transferable. SNAP Test 2020 score is valid only for selected courses. Admission to the selected programmes at SIBM is made strictly based on merit and SNAP Test scores. SNAP Test result will be announced on 22nd January 2021 on the college portal and will be available till 23rd February 2021.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), is a national level entrance test conducted by institute for admission in any discipline of the MBA course. This examination is exempted for the students applying to the part-time MBA-Executive.

The applicant seeking admission in any of the branches of MBA is required to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
Aggregate marks of 50% or equivalent grade (45% 0r equivalent grade for SC/ ST) in Graduation from any recognized University or Institution of National Importance. The candidates appearing in the final exams are also eligible to apply provided they fulfil the required marks criteria. The applicants with Graduation from any Foreign University needs to obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Based on the SNAP score followed by Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)
