SCIT Scholarship 2024 is offered to students based on merit and financial conditions. Loan facilities are also available for students to help them complete their professional education without any constraints.

SCIT Merit Scholarships

SCIT students are offered merit scholarships based on their performance and academic background. 

• The top students who join the "Symbiosis International (Deemed University)" MBA programs are awarded 50% of the Tuition-Fee Waivers scholarships.
• Merit scholarships under SCIT Pune are awarded for the MBA in Information Technology and Business Management (ITBM) program. 
• SCIT scholarships award the top five students from IIT who join the "Symbiosis International (Deemed University)" programs for management. The students are awarded scholarships in the form of 20% Tuition-Fee Waivers. However, students must also pass the SNAP/GE PIWAT examinations to qualify for the scholarships.
• Furthermore, semester toppers are also provided scholarships for various programs during the course.

Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship

• The Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship comes under SCIT scholarships for PG students.
• The scholarship is offered to one female student who secures the highest marks in the all-India SNAP test. 
• INR 75,000 is offered as a SCIT Pune scholarship, adjusted against the first instalment of the tuition fee.
• If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship by Symbiosis Society Foundation, then they are awarded only one scholarship/freeship per their preference.

SCIT University Scholarships

SCIT Pune is affiliated with Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The different scholarships the university offers also apply to students who wish to pursue management programs at SCIT.

SCIT Sports Scholarships

Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology gives equal importance to students' extracurricular activities and academic achievements. The details of the SCIT scholarships for sports are exhibited below.

• This SCIT scholarship 2024 will be offered to five sportspeople.
• An amount of INR 24000 per annum is awarded to the students.
• The students for this SCIT Pune scholarship are selected from all the students under Symbiosis International [DeemedUniversity (SIU)].
• The Symbiosis International University Sports Board of SCIT Pune takes the final decision.

SCIT International Scholarship

This SCIT scholarship 2024 will be offered to the "Foreign National" students of Symbiosis from 2023-24. Scholarships for an MBA are provided to eligible international students admitted into the college to celebrate 50 years of providing top-notch education to its students. 

The scholarship waives off the academic fees of the Foreign National Students.

SCIT International Scholarship Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required

The eligibility criteria and documentation requirements of this scholarship are elucidated below:

• A valid foreign passport is required.
• Only "Foreign National" students are eligible for this SCIT scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students do not qualify for this scholarship.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.
• Students must also appear for an English Proficiency Test conducted by the British Council (IELTS). A score of 6 or the IELA Test with a minimum band of 3 is required for eligibility for this SCIT scholarship.

SCIT NER Scholarships for Students from North-East Region

Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology scholarships are offered to meritorious students in the Northeast Region of India (NER). Students from the northeast states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura Manipal, and Sikkim can apply for this scholarship.

This SCIT scholarship waives only the academic fees. The rest of the expenses must be taken care of by the student. The eligibility criteria and documents required for this scholarship are elucidated below.

NER Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Only "NER" students are eligible for this SCIT scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students do not qualify for this scholarship.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.

Documents Required for NER Scholarship

• A valid domicile certificate is required.
• Letter of recommendation from a Gazetted Officer/Principal of School/college.
• Statement of Purpose
• Proof of Academic Scores/Marksheets
• Any other document that the SCIT Scholarship Committee requires during admission. 

SCIT Scholarships by The Government of India

SCIT Educational Loans

Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology offers financial aid in the form of funding from banks to students in need to provide every student with equal education opportunities, irrespective of their financial status. 

Canara Bank allows SCIT students to take a loan of INR 30 Lakhs for their MBA program under the "Vidya Turant Educational Loan" Scheme. Students are also offered loans with zero processing charges and the lowest interest rate.
