SCIT Placements 2023: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Companies

SCIT placements have been recording some of the best placement statistics in Pune. SCIT placements 2023 recorded 100% placements for both MBA- ITBM and MBA- DSDA programs. The SCIT highest package offered for students of the MBA- ITBM program in 2023 was INR 30.00 LPA. Similarly, the highest package offered for MBA- DSDA program students during SCIT Pune placements 2023 was also recorded as INR 30.00 LPA.

Around 67 companies from multiple sectors have participated in Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology placements 2023. Companies like Deloitte India, Ernst and Young, IBM India Pvt. Ltd., KPMG India, PWC India, American Express, Morgan Stanley, Adani Wilmar Ltd., VMware Software India Pvt. Ltd., etc., are some of the SCIT top recruiters.

SCIT Pune is yet to release the internship statistics for the 2021- 23 batch. However, the institute has successfully provided internships for 100% of students from the 2020- 22 batch. The SCIT highest stipend offered in 2021 for the MBA- ITBM and MBA- DSDA programs is INR 1.0 Lakhs per month and INR 0.87 Lakhs per month, respectively.

SCIT Placement Highlights 2023

The placement cell of SCIT has successfully concluded the 2023 placement drive for MBA- ITBM and MBA- DSDA programs. The SCIT average package 2023 offered for students of the MBA- ITBM program was INR 11.17 LPA. Similarly, the average package of the MBA- DSDA program in 2023 was INR 11.66 LPA. Around 38 companies participated in the MBA- ITBM placement drive, and 29 companies in the MBA DSDA placement drive of 2023.

SCIT Placement Cell

Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology has a placement cell that takes care of all placement activities of the institute. The SCIT placement cell organises various workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, etc., to provide exposure for students and prepare them for the final SCIT Pune placements. The placement cell believes in holistic learning where students enhance their communication and interpersonal skills through various modes like presentations, group discussions, Role-plays, debates, etc.

Teamwork is an integral part of most activities organised by the placement cell for students, both academic and extra-curricular. The SCIT Pune placement cell organises summer placements for first-year students and final placements for second-year students.

SCIT Internship

Students of SCIT Pune must undergo a mandatory 15-week internship program during their summer holidays. Companies from various sectors participate and recruit Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology Pune students for intern positions in multiple domains. A total of 49 companies have participated in the SCIT internship drive for the 2020-22 batch. The average stipend offered for the top 20 MBA- ITBM and MBA- DSDA students was INR 0.71 Lakhs per month and INR 0.47 Lakhs per month, respectively. The institute is yet to release the internship statistics for the 2021-23 and 2022-24 batches.
