Proctor System

The Proctorial System is introduced with the main objective of providing supportive care and advice to the students and to help them in their academic problems and personal problems if any, from time to time and to counsel them appropriately. This system would help the students to complete their studies comfortably and successfully. Efforts are made to send the progress reports of each student to his/her parent/guardians furnishing the details of attendance, class marks, eamination results, etc.

Library

swathi Educational Institutions We have a spacious library with working area of 500 sq.m. consisting of 12000 Volumes, 5000 Titles and 52 National and International Journals. Students have a facility of access to the Digital Library with Internet.

Industrial Visits

As an integral part of the engineering course, all the students in the second and third year were sent on industrial visit. This industrial visit provided an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.The students went to Nagarjunasagar Dam on 27.2.09. It is purely a study tour where students are allowed to look at how a power plant operates and the various control systems that are available in the plant which are used to monitor the power generation. Steel Factory at Visakhapatnam was also visited on 19.3.09. It is one of the leading manufacturers of steel in southern India. They also visited a submarine and studied various important aspects that go into consideration while building a submarine.

Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are typically awarded on the basis of academic, athletic or artistic merit, in addition to special interests. Some merit scholarships also consider financial need, but rewarding talent is the primary objective.

Recreational & Study Tours

The industrial visit, thus met its purpose by giving the students theAdventurelovinggroupofstudentswentonatrekto
opportunity to learn through observation needed for budding engineers. Himalaya's (Near Manali) and visitedvarious parts The day the students spent attending the industrial visit was both enjoyable of northern India as part of 'Know India Campaign' and useful.

Cafeteria & Student Amenities Centre

A useful and inviting college cafeteria is a factor in the success of college students. We have a Cafeteria which offers food service programs at subsidized prices. Cafeteria is financially subsidized by college due to several factors the main reason being the seasonal use of food services by students. Student amenities centre

Security

A security officer stationed at the Campus in Main Building is available 24 hours a day, and uniformed security officers provide around the-clock protection and services for the campus community. The Safety and Security Department, which reports to the dean of students, consists of a director, two associate directors, and full-time, certified security officers. Uniformed security officers patrol the grounds to enforce state and local statutes as well as college rules and regulations.

Hostel

We are providing separate hostel facilities in safe & hygienic surroundings for boys (on-campus) & girls (off-campus) with spacious buildings (built-up area of 20,000 sq.ft.). The food served in the hostel is a mix of north Indian and south Indian dishes. The hostels are equipped with round the clock security using CC camera surveillance and finger print authenticated entry into the premises. Solar water heaters and water purifiers equipped with e-boiling+ technology are installed for the comfort of the students. The premises are wi-fi enabled and provision is made for the students to carry their laptops.

Transportation and Parking Services

Thanks to the College's own transportation and public transit system, Swathi students have more regular and reliable access to the resources and entertainment opportunities in the Greater Hyderabad area than any other suburban campus. The college's own transportation comprises of a fleet of buses which provide hassle free and safe transportation. Owing to the college's proximity to National Highway (NH-9), the public transport buses run at an hourly frequency to various locations in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
