Sudharsan Engineering College (SEC), Pudukkottai was established in 2000 is one of the leading engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. It is an NBA accredited institution and has been managed by Sudharsan Educational Trust with the aim of disseminating knowledge in the fields of science, engineering and technology in the rural district of Pudukkottai.

The vision of the institute is to be the best and continue to improve. The mission of the institute is to offer the highest quality engineering and management education in a backward area and bring out engineers with state of the art professional skills, to protect the safety, health and welfare of the society through Sudharsan.

Sudharsan Engineering College (SEC), Pudukkottai was established in 2000 under Sudharsan Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The college is situated on NH 210 in Sathiyamangalam about 12 km from Pudukkottai. The campus is 40 kms close to Trichy and 30 kms to Trichy Anna University.

Classroom Facilities-
All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.

HOSTEL

The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished. college has 4(four) ladies hostels accommodating 1400 (one thousand four hundred) and above boarders and 7(seven) boys

Training and Placement Cell at Sudharsan Engineering College -

The Cell is involved in securing placements for students passing out from the college. It is in constant touch with various industrial establishments, which conduct pre-placement presentation, campus interviews and select student representatives from each department to coordinate the placement activities.
