INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

All classrooms are well maintained and properly kept with painted walls. Campus at St. George's College is fully equiped with transporting facilities.

HOSTELS & FOOD

Most of us are daily coming from homes. There is a college hostel separate for boys as well as girls. Food is easily availabe in our canteen as well as restaurants off campus and the available food is mainly south indian to be specific.

Only hostel for girls only and 4000 per month

Pg college is very good

Food in college is very good in the canteen and one meal is 50

Quality of class is very good and with smart class

St. George's College Infrastructure Details

The college is situated in the state of Kerala in the District of Kottayam in Erattupetta (Aruvithura) and is approachable by road. The nearest railway station is at Kottayam which is approximately 54 away and the nearest airport is at Nedumbasserry( Cochin) about 90 kms away. The college is nestled among the hills on the banks of river Meenachil made famous by Arundhati Roy’s God of Small Things and caters to students predominantly from agricultural back ground. The main crops here are rubber, pepper, coconut, tea, coffee, tapioca and so on. Christians, Hindus and Muslims live here in harmony, peace and amity.

The St.George Forane church Aruvithura which owns and manages the college is a place of repute for pilgrimage. The college is just 6 km away from Bharananganam which is a pilgrim centre of great repute honoring Blessed Alphonsa. The College is about 40 kms away from Sabarimala one of the most famous pilgrim centers in South India. The College is near to Vagamon one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the state of Kerala.
