INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION

Hostel infrastructure is poor but free. There is only veg food is the only veg. Classrooms and lab are good. There is no wifi.

Boys and girl hostels are already there. There is no PG available near College. I don't know the cost of the meal in our college. Infrastructure everything super.

The college has separate rooms for NSS, NCC and Physical Education with a Table Tennis Court.  A well equipped gymnasium worth of  Rs. 3,00,000/- is also available for students. The following sports facilities are available in the college.

Laboratories

The laboratories are also well equipped with latest apparatus or instruments needed for conducting practical classes or  examinations.

Physics Laboratory has now been converted in to a Smart Lab. Similarly M.B.A., M.C.A., Auditorium are equipped with LCD Projectors.  The college has a few number of  OHPs (Over Head Projector) which are available for use in various departments.

Besides academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, the infrastructure of the college is used as detailed below.

  • Competitive and Entrance examinations like TNPSC, UPSC, Annamalai University B.Ed., Examination, Bank Recruitment Examinations and TNPCEE are conducted in our college.

  • NCC camps are conducted in our college.

  • University level functions and sports meets are held.

  • Meetings related to Consumer Protection, Women Empowerment and Guest Lectures are conducted.

  • Our College has provided a room for Punjab National Bank in the college campus.

  • The College lends furniture for functions connected with Public activities.

  • Our College has conducted an in-service training programme for school students and teachers.

  • Faculties of our College are utilized by the nearby schools and colleges for the improvement of skills of teachers.

  • Self-Finance Courses are conducted in the campus.

Hospitals and qualified doctors are available nearby the College. The college has its own vehicles like van and a sumo car to take students to the hospitals in case of emergency.

The College has prepared a master plan that has included the following-

  • Construction of roads connecting all the blocks

  • Drinking water facilities in all the blocks

  • Common parking centre at the gate is created for two wheelers and four wheelers for students and for staff members, it is located in the lounge.

Adequate number of staff rooms are available in the college. A day care centre is available to take food for boys. A snacks centre and a rest room for girls with toilets are available. When  students feel sick, the staff give them the first-aid help and take them to the hospital by our own vehicles and treat them well. There are two auditoriums in the college. A restaurant with a rest room is maintained in the hostel building.

Our college has two canteens – one for selling snacks, tea and coffee, another canteen for food items. A rest room for bus crew has been constructed. 16 buses are being operated for women students to pick up and drop them. Staff members, both teaching and administrative – are also using the college bus services. There are three generators with the capacity of 125 kv, 110 kv and 63 kv .   A tar road of 900 feet and Cement Road of 800 feet has been laid down in the college campus. Trees and plants occupy 2 acres of land of total area of 28.12 acres.
