The campus has a plenty of open ground for the extracurricular activities and outdoor games. Indoor games are provided in the auditorium. College team has won many accolades in various inter-college competitions. Few of our college students are also representing Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in Cricket, Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Table Tennis. Every year college conducts annual sports meet. All these sports activities are monitored and students are trained by a qualified full time physical director.
The College has an excellent library facility and is managed by full time qualified and experienced librarians. Separate reading rooms, discussion rooms and audio visual rooms are provided for the benefit of students. A Library Information Management System gives all the required accurate information to the users where, the students can reserve and renew books themselves. For the benefit of students in making use of the internet, access terminals are provided in the library with high speed broadband facility. Students are also given access to several dental and medical e-journals. The library operating hours are from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. on all working days and 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Sundays.
All students and staff of SIDS are provided with personal email ID @ sids.ac.in each with 7 GB storage capacity. Students and Staff can use this facility to email, chat, store and share documents and organise their own calendar even on their mobile phones. These facilities can be used to communicate with anyone in the college, send a common mail to all their classmates, check availability and arrange a meeting with a staff member, management or students.
