Links with Industry

In recognition of the importance of links between education & industry, School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) organizes programs , wherever possible, for visiting professionals, apparel/textile companies. Students are also encouraged to seek and maintain links with industry in support of their major project work. Links are also maintained through regular study visits. Links with the industry are reinforced through lecturers and seminars by industry experts whose in-depth knowledge enhances the dimensions of design & technical awareness for faculty and students of School of Fashion Technology (SOFT).

Center of Excellence

Equipped with state of the art infrastructure and highly qualified professionals, School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) has made its presence felt in the Indian and International fashion scene, recently winning of DHL-CIAe International Fashion Award and excellent placement record mark the capping of SOFT’s Success.

Computer Lab

The computer center in School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) is equipped with latest Pentium computers supporting all software’s, hardware’s which are part of the curriculum offered through different programs. The CAD/CAM cell has workstations for textiles and apparel design with dedicated high-end software’s including Lectra, Fashion Studio.

Library

The library in School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) consist of books and other published resources covering the educational program. It subscribes to world’s leading fashion forecast services. The library also has the valuable audio-visual collection of videotapes, slides, CD-ROMs and photographs.

Resource Center

It subscribes to the world’s leading fashion journals and fashion forecast services. School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) also has the valuable audio-visual collection of videotapes, slides, CD-ROMs and photographs.

School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) has well-designed semi furnished hostel for girls subject to its norms and conditions. One can apply through proper channel once the merit list is finalized.

Health Club

Inspiring ambiance of health club at School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) makes students inclined towards regular exercise. All the latest equipments with well trained instructors are made available here. Yoga and other fitness programs are also conducted for the students to achieve and maintain good fitness levels.
