School of Engineering and Technology Admission 2023: Eligibility, Application Process & Dates

• M.Tech admissions are made on the basis of BE / B.Tech scores. Students with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are preferred.

• 45% is required for candidates from reserved categories.

• Entrance exams of GATE / JET or any equivalent entrance exams.

• Admissions to M.Tech course will be done on the basis of Interview conducted by the University and the following:

  • #jet - Jain Entrance Test

  • GATE

  • Any State Level Entrance Exam

• Students with provisional admission must pay the admission fee within 21 days of the provisional admission.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:

• Class 10th Marks Sheet - Original with 2 photocopies

• Class 12th / PUC Marks Card - Original with 2 photocopies

• All Semesters Diploma Marks Sheet (If applicable)

• Diploma Degree Certificate (If applicable)

• All Semesters BE / B.Tech Marks Sheets

• BE / B.Tech Degree Certificate

• Transfer Certificate - Original with 2 photocopies

• Migration Certificate - Original with 2 photocopies (If applicable)

• Passport size and Stamp size Photographs - 5 each

• Caste Certificate and Income Certificate - Original with 2 photocopies (If applicable)

• Parents' PAN card photocopy

• Student's Aadhaar card photocopy

• Provisional Admission Offer Letter - Original

• Copy of Provisional Admission fee receipt

• For School of Engineering and Technology - Jain University admissions 2023, the minimum requirement is to have completed 10+2 with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board of education.

• The candidates must have studied Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry / Electronics / Computer Science / Biology as optional subjects.

• Relaxation of 5% will be given to students of reserved categories.

• JET / Uni-GAUGE entrance exam scores are accepted.

For B.Tech application is directly made to JET - Jain Entrance Test.

• Candidates who fit the eligibility criteria will be given provisional admission.

• They must verify their documents at the time of admission.

• Application mode is completely online. The official website of the School of Engineering and Technology can be visited.

• The application can be made through fours steps.

Step 1: New User Registration

• The relevant details must be entered carefully in the registration form.

• An authentication Email will be sent to the Email ID of the applicant.

• Authentication must be completed to go further in the application process.

• All communication regarding the application will be sent to the registered Email and mobile no. of the applicant.

Step 2: Online Filling of the Application Form

• Information like personal information, academic information, address, and other additional information must be added before submitting the form.

• Final choosing of test centre is done while applying.

• After filling upload a recent passport size photo of the candidate. (Format =  .jpg / .png) (File Size = <50 KB)

• Upload the soft copy of the candidate's 10th Marks sheet. (Format =  .jpg / .png / .PDF) (File Size = <100 KB)

• For PG course, also upload 12th and all semester Marks sheets from Degree.

• An application number will be generated for future reference.

Step 3: Payment Mode

• Application fee can be paid online through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.

• Application fee for General Category students is INR 550/-.

NOTE:

• If the amount if debited the applicants are advised not to try new application but to wait for 24 hours and try again with the same registered Email ID.

• If the amount is not debited then it is advised to try the payment again.

• There is no need to send the hard copy of the application after applying online.
