Library

The SBMCET Library established in the year 2009 June was housed in a class room with 4500 books to start with. It is privileged to support the institute's march towards its vision “Stay a head”. The Library is well equipped with modern facilities & resources in the form of CD-Rom. Online databases, audio video cassettes, books, journals etc.
The Library transaction and library entries are carried out by Barcode Technology. It has the facility to Web OPAC-online search. So the library catalogue can be accessed through intranet, in future through internet. And the Library is being subscribed to INDEST AICTE- CONSORTIUM and utilizing the E-resources.

Internet

As computers have well demonstrated their effectiveness in enhancing the convenience and speed of information processing, storage and sharing in all organizations, they have become the most significant components of educational infrastructure. In this infrastructure 8 MBPS internet bandwidth is available and also have Wi-Fi campus network.

Transport

The college has 35 new buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members who reside in various points in the city and also from Battlagundu, Guziliyamparai ,Madurai,Nagalnagar, Natham, Oddanchathiram, Palanibypass, Palani gate, Senkurichi, Thadicombu, Vadamadurai, Vedasandur, Vaiyampatti to college and back on all working days both in the morning and evening time. The buses are operated in and around dindigul separately for boys and girls. Speedometer is attached in all the buses which limits the speed. All these buses have an emergency exit window and a first aid box. All the drivers are well experienced.

Canteen

A canteen is functioning in the located inside the college premises for the benefit of students & staff. The canteen has been well planned and laid out in the midst of verdure lawn and beautifully landscaped. Spacious, airy & trendy in canteen offers ample scope for students to break free from their arduous schedules and enjoy appetizing food in an extremely casual yet pleasant ambience.

Hostel

Hostel is the home away from home for students. SBM Engineering College offers the infrastructure necessary for a balance practical life as well as complete professional training and personal fulfillment. SBM Hostel is located in the college premises and can accommodate 700 students.Discipline is the foreward of the hostel.The hostel provides a serene atmosphere for studying and overall development of students. Separate hostels are provided with well furnished, ventilated and necessary amenities for boys & girls students. These include indoor games, reading room and audio-video facilities. The hostel mess provides delicious nutritive food both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
