Fees & Scholarships : Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology, [SUIIT] Orissa Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.07 Lakhs per annum. Scholarships are provided to SC/ST category students, and getting the scholarship is entirely based on the number of students in the category mentioned above and percentage in 12th board. Loans are optional, accustomed to your financial stability. The college has tie-up with SBI and UCO bank. It can be easily availed by writing a request letter to the head of the office.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibilty criteria were pass marks in 12th board exam and a minimum of 60% marks. The admission process is done through JEE or OJEE counselling. I gave OJEE, i.e., Odisha Joint Entrance Examination.

Placements & Internships : Companies that come for campus recruitment are TCS, HCL, Wipro, and Rising startup companies like Ortes, etc. So, average salary figure offered is INR 3-4.5 LPA and the highest salary offered is INR 6-8 LPA. Our institution is new and growing every day and will have to tie-up with more companies with the placement cell of our institution in the near future. On average, 20-30% of students get placed, and others opt for off-campus, or they opt for further higher studies. The alumni network is good as of what I have seen in a year.

Academics & Faculty : Daily routine life is a bit tiring, but that's what college life is all about. Classes usually start from 9 am and ends at 5 pm but classes for each semester and branch depends on timetable provided by the college. The quality of teaching is nice. The faculties are helpful and give deep understanding. We also have projectors fit in every classroom for digital lectures. The overall experience in college is good, as the college is autonomous, it has its facilities. As college is at a walkable distance from IIM Sambalpur, we are provided passes with less cost during IIM fest which is fascinating, I guess.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are three hostels on campus: one girl's hostel and two boys hostel. The hostel rooms are good with good ventilation. The hostel fees per year is INR 11,000. The hostel food is amazing, as in girls hostel food is amazing. The classrooms, labs, and libraries are really nice, neat, clean, and well facilitated.

Clubs & Associations : There are basically four clubs, i.e., literary, sports, cultural, and technical. This year it was planned to construct different societies under cultural club, but it could not happen because of the pandemic. The main festivals on campus are Foundation day, Ganesh puja, Saraswati puja/Vasant Panchami, Diwali, Holi, and yearly fests. My overall college life is good.
