Infrastructure facilities at Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology, [SUIIT] Orissa:

Campus:

• This Institute has a campus adjacent to the main campus of the Sambalpur University at Jyoti Vihar, Burla.
• The picturesque and green environment interspersed with scenic hills.
• This Institute has a modern academic building furnished with audio-visual classrooms.
• It has well-equipped laboratories, faculty rooms and Library with increasing stocks of books.
• The academic building is fully WiFi enabled. 

Hostels:

• SUIIT has separate hostels for boys and girls.
• Single and double bedded basis in its own campus.

Laboratories:

• Computing Lab such as Networking Lab with CISCO equipment, Database Lab with Oracle and Programming Lab in collaboration with SUN JAVA are developed for the students of SUIIT.
• The Labs are well equipped with SunFire X2250 servers and many open source and commercial software.
• Basic Electronics, Embedded system & Communication Labs along with Bioinformatics Lab have added.

Sports:

• The University campus is active in cultural, sports and extra-curricular activities.
• The Techno Cultural Festival which is called AAVAHAN is being organized by the students every year.
