Library (DR.APJ ABDUL KALAM LIBRARY)

Library is the Hallmark of our Institution. DR.APJ ABDUL KALAM Library is fully air-conditioned and holds a variety of relevant subject books of both Indian and foreign authors, magazines and journals on Engineering and Management subject which is a treasure in itself. There is a fully dedicated browsing centre with 50 terminals within the library, which enables the students and staff to access internet. The operations of their library are fully automated with Barcode Technology.

The Library is well equipped with stacks holding more than 19200 Volumes and 5780 Titles covering various areas of Engineering & Technology, Computer Application and Business Administration. Besides the library also has more than 450 Non-book-material collections varied from mathematics to Information Technology. They are currently subscribing more than 270 International and National journals covering all the fields of Engineering, Computing Applications and Management. Library is currently holding more than 500 (NPTEL) Video lectures covering various subject domains.

Digital Repository has been established in order to enable the users to browse the e-article, e-syllabus, e-question paper, e-magazine, e-competitive exam resources and e-books. This Digital Repository is made available throughout the campus. A fully integrated site has been created to browse all the contents of the library.

Transportation

The college plies many buses from various parts of the city. The number of buses have been consistently increasing keeping in pace with the increase in the intake of the students. The institution is also easily reachable from Poonamallee by city buses. The bus drivers are courteous and make the students to reach the college on time.

Mess Block (SASTHA)

A Mess Hall with a capacity of 500 members can dine at the same time. A large kitchen with steam cooking is attached to mess hall. Both Veg. and Non-Veg. food are provided. All students (Hostlers as well as Day-Scholars) and staff members are provided lunch, tea and snacks every day. The mess serves delicious variety of foods during college functions and festival days also. The food provided by the college mess is nutritious, hygienic with a variety of south Indian and north Indian cuisines.

Hostel

The college has fully furnished separate Hostel blocks for boys and girls. Air Conditioned rooms are also available. Water heaters are installed to provide hot water 24 hours.

The students are provided with well lit rooms which enable them to have an undisturbed atmosphere to study. The hostel provides a homely atmosphere for its inmates. Faculties coming from very far distance are provided with very good facilities in the hostel.
