College life was very good with excellent teachers who supported throughout the engineering life.

Three boy's hostels, two girls hostels with 24*7 electricity and water supply

The quality of teaching is excellent with teachers who are very cooperative with us helping in clearing doubts, methods of teaching and encourage us to do well in our career by giving us guidance.

The overall experience was very good.

Eligibility criteria is 10+2, jee main score and jcece entrance exam. PCM with 45% marks,jee main score,jcece score.

College Events RVSCET has a rich blend of academics and extracurricular activities. Year-round, there are a lot of activities happening.

Apart from the Freshers, Farewell, and other important days celebration, there is a 3 day Sports Fest called Frolic. Frolic is an inter-departmental sports meet where all the departments organize the event and compete. It is filled with fun and enjoyment.

The highlight and the most awaited event of RVSCET is a 3-day Techno-Cultural Fest called Provenance. There are over 60 technical and cultural events that happen and colleges from all around the state come and participate.

The main events of Provenance are Hackathon, Blind Coding, Not Soccer, Maze Solver Bot, PC Games, Key Wars, Nukkad Natak, Music competitions, Dance Competitions, Fashion Show, DJ Night, Celebrity Nights where Bollywood Singers perform. Bollywood singer Ash King performed in Provenance 2019.

The College is well spread over 40 acres.

The infrastructure is beautiful. It has the best campus in Bihar and Jharkhand. The environment is amazing as the College is surrounded by lush green Dalma Hills and River Swarnarekha.

The positive view is the college campus, it is very big and its location is appreciable. Also as per placement, it is the best college. This College tries it's best to organize more events.

RVS College of Engineering and Technology, [RVSCET] Jamshedpur Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 42,900 Per semester.

After that, some extra charges like examination fee, Dress charge, and other charges are applied. If any student wishes to stay in a hostel then it costs INR 30000 per year.

Every year more than 100 companies takes visit our college for placements.

This College is having the best record of placement in its State. This year 10 student has been placed average salary package of 6 LPA.

Basically, there is no student club. There are many restrictions on students. The life in College is in general like school life. Once a year you can have a sports meet which is only for 3 days.

There are 3 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. The college is in very outskirt area so one should not expect any PG nearby. The market is very far. Wifi is there but you need to have siphon on your phone to access it.

The method of teaching is not good. The way teacher communicates with students is not fair. The syllabus is very outdated. Here we don't have topics like Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, etc. in computer science branch and this is the condition of all branches. The overall experience is very bad here.

The course fee is 40300 per semester and altogether there are 8 semesters. The Scholarship is also there but one has to be the topper in the semester. The topper can avail a discount of 25% on the college fee. The hostel fee is 27500 per year and mess charge is 2300.

The placement wing is not good over here. This year companies came only for Computer science, Civil and mechanical branch. The package was very merged. The highest package was 3 lacs per year of a student of CSE.

The eligibility criteria for getting here is standard 12th must be completed.One can also get admission on the basis of jee mains marks and JCECE marks. Lateral entry is also there for students who have completed their diploma in the respective branches.

• Rotaract club is there at RVS College of Engineering and Technology campus.
• NSS unit has been formed by students.
• The life of students is good in general at college.                                

• 5 hostels are there in RVS College of Engineering and Technology and Rs. 24,500 is the hostel fee/year.

• The mess food cost Rs. 2,000 per month.

Admission is through JCECE Entrance examination to get into RVSCET, Jamshedpur.

Cutoff is 40-60 for ME & 30-40 for CE ECE EEE

• The student who apply in JEE MAIN and JCECE can take admission in RVS College of Engineering.
• Minimum 12th percentage required 45℅.

IN GENERAL THE COLLEGE LIFE AT RVSCET ID FULL OF FUN. (just in case you know well how to get through the semester exams and handle the peer pressure)

• There a total of 5 hostels, 3 for boys and 2 for girls. There is a proper distance maintained between the both the hostels, moreover the girls hostel is facilitated an another inner boundary within the campus itself.
• There are absolutely no PGs outside the college, But after  a distance of around 5 kms there are good resdidential flats, apartment and student lodges where a huge chunk of students are staying.
• Fooding and lodging together costs around Rs 48,000 per year. college facilitates the transporttion from these places. The cost of each meal at the college canteen is above Rs 30.
• The labs ,classrooms ,libraries ,dining hall are exceptionally good. The wifi speed is just ok.

HERE students are free to get internship from any company of their choice.

College is having a tie with HEC RANCHI ,WHERE a huge chunk of students get interned.

• Course fees is INR 40300/- per semester.
• Here we have scholarships for the semester toppers.
• The overall topper gets a fee concession of 50% and the branch topper gets a fee concession of 25%. Now coming on to govt. scholarships - TOP 5 students with the best ranks in the JCECE gets a 100% tuition fees discount. For others the amount is as per their category. OBC gets INR 55,000-60,000 per year, SC gets INR 60,000-65000 per year, ST gets INR 65,000-70,000 per year

• Here at RVSCET a strict time-table is being followed, with 7 lectures of 55 minutes each. The faculties here, especially at Mechanical Deptt. are outstanding. Most of them are from NIT jsr and TATA Steel/Motors employee and learning from them provides us an actual exposure to the work of a Mechanical Engineer.
• The method of teaching is very common, classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and all.
• The environment at the college campus is very healthy. The student teacher ratios are as per the AICET norms.
