Library

RRSCET Library is completely automated with “NEWZENLIB” library software. The Library has an excellent and rare collection of 27,798 books. It Works 8.00 AM to 6.30PM in all working days. The library collection includes unique reference titles, CDs, project report and other documents. Arrangement is as Dictionary type Card Catalogue, based on AACR-2, and divided into 3 sections: author, title and subject. Books are filed according to class numbers (D.D.C 19 ed.) on the shelves.

Library Collection :

Digital Library

Digital Library is a useful tool aiding the research process as it enables instant access to all the information like e-material, e-lectures, Internet facilitates students stay connected any time to any part of the world.

The Digital Library offers the following facilities:

• NPTEL, MIT, SONET, IETE and other Course Material
• IEEE, DELNET, SONET journals/Materials
• Providing No. of Open access journals, articles, case studies and database like DOAJ, E-prints, IBM, PUBMED, NLM, open-j gate, ICRISAT archives, thetimes100, archive.org etc.
• More than 5000 e-books are available, which included Encyclopedia, dictionaries, general, fiction, technical, biographies, stories, etc.,
• In addition it is providing all University Syllabus, Question Papers, Study Material, Lab Manuals, Lab experiments, Etc.
• It also providing Links to all other useful websites of Career, National and International Official websites of Government/Offices/Companies, Education, Geographical etc.

Transport

The Institution provides transport facility to the students who come from distant places. For their convenience, the college operates ten luxurious buses ply from all corners of the city. College is located just 1 km from NH-9 connecting Hyderabad-Mumbai. The bus facility is provided at a nominal fare for students and the faculty. Student bus passes are issued in the college by the APSRTC authorities every month. Senior faculty & Professors are provided with vehicles.

All the students are advised to possess their Identity Cards (Transport) while traveling in the buses. If there are any difficulties/complaints, you are advised to contact the Transport in-charge.

Sports

The Department of Physical Education over a period of time has grown leaps and bounds. Today it has state of art facilities for playing many of the Games & Sports in the campus. Due to the unflinching support extended by the Management of the Institute, the department could able to add the required infrastructure one after the other. Today we are able to provide the following facilities to the students for playing at the campus.

Students are encouraged to improve their physical fitness and sports abilities through a separate Physical Education Department.

Facilities exist by way of extensive play fields for almost all outdoor games and with GYM facility for students.

Hostel:

With a view to providing personal care to the students coming from various corners of the state, the college is running separate hostels for Boys & Girls. The disciplined and caring hostel environment helps the student imbibe positive values which serve as a firm foundation for their life and career. With the spirit of sharing and living in a multicultural community, they grow into evolved human beings.
