The Alumni network is growing day by day under the guidance of experienced lecturers of RIMS.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
The eligibility criteria for getting admissions was having the first-class percentage in UG and should have attempted any entrance exams of MBA.
I took the MAT exam conducted on 2016 September. There were no cutoffs for the course.
Fees & Scholarships :
Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, [RIMS] Bangalore Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 3,88,000, the scholarship is available for students who secure more the than 70% throughout their academics. The average could be around 10 students per batch. Loans can be procured easily by submitting the documents related to your admission such as the offer letter given by the institution.
Academics & Faculty :
The class timings are from 7:30 am to 4 pm in general, timings can vary according to the events and seminars hosted by the college. The method of teaching is mostly through presentations, Group discussions etc. It's a nice college if one wants to learn the nitty-gritty of management.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college infrastructure is pretty average in terms of a full-fledged auditorium which conduct college fests. The canteen is average both in terms of food and seating.PG's are good for students who are coming from far-off places. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and cushioned seats. Wifi can be a menace in terms of speed. The library has all the books related management but some books related to data science can be included.
Clubs & Associations :
There is a rotary club which functions in RIMS. The major functions of the rotary club are to engage in social service activities such as traffic rules awareness campaigns, visiting old age homes, orphanages to name a few. To sum it up the institutions has a brand which is well known throughout Karnataka and the lecturers are its a major strength. The college will be good if you are a nerd whose aim is to succeed in your professional life but if you're passionate about sports or cultural activities it can be a major disappointment. The college is highly supportive when it comes to placements.
