Admission Process

B-Tech Admission

• 70% of seats are allocated through RPET for 10+2 students.
• 15% seats are reserved for out-of-state students and management quota through AIEEE.

Polytechnic Diploma (3-year, II Shift)

• Eligibility: Admission after the 10th (1st year) through Management Quota or DTE, and after the 12th (PCM) for the 2nd-year diploma.

Fee Structure

• B-Tech: ₹70,000/year (Tuition: ₹59,000, Development: ₹11,000).
  First-year total: ₹78,500 (including Registration ₹1,000, Caution Deposit ₹7,500). Hostel Fee: ₹48,000/year.
• Polytechnic: ₹28,000/year (Tuition: ₹20,000, Development: ₹8,000).
  First-year total: ₹36,500. Hostel Fee: ₹48,000/year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Admission is based on RPET or AIEEE scores.
• Minimum 45% marks in 10th or 12th (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• Must have passed 10+2 with Science, Mathematics, and English.

Rules & Regulations

1. Course Duration: 4 years following RPET or AIEEE.
2. Language: English is used for all instruction.
3. Selection Process: Based on RPET or AIEEE performance.
4. Instructional Hours: 35 periods per week, with 7 periods daily over 5 days.
5. Attendance: A minimum of 80% is required to be eligible for exams; 65% with medical approval.
6. Examinations: Includes both external exams and internal assessments based on tests, assignments, and attendance.
7. Internal Assessment: Comprises 40% for tests, 40% for assignments, and 20% for attendance.
8. End Exam: Theory and practical exams are worth 100 marks each, with a duration of 3 hours.
9. Passing Criteria: Minimum 40% in both theory and practical exams combined.
10. Promotion: Students must meet attendance requirements to advance to the next year.
11. Classification:

• First Class with Distinction: 75%+
• First Class: 60%-74%
• Second Class: Below 60%.

The lab, accommodating 30 students, is furnished with all essential tools for practical experiments.

Library

The air-conditioned library holds 6000 books, e-journals, and 55 technical magazines. It offers a book bank and SC/ST book bank and is fully computerized.

Gym

The air-conditioned gym is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and instructional videos, with a sports officer available to assist.

Hostels

Fully furnished, separate hostels for boys and girls feature mess facilities, common rooms, internet access, medical aid, and transport during breaks. Each hostel provides 200 seats in double/triple rooms.
