Raffles Design International, [RDI] Mumbai was established in 2004 by the Raffles Education Corporation Limited (Raffles Education Corp). Raffles Mumbai takes industry requirements into cognisance and encourages students to specialise in their niches. It has about 24,000 students spread across 25 colleges in 23 cities across 13 Asia-Pacific countries. The mother branch is Raffles Design International, Singapore.

Raffles Design International, Mumbai, Maharashtra allows students to transfer or finish their studies at any of the schools or universities having an articulation agreement with it. As the entire school network follows the same academic calendar, students can adjust their transfer time to not lose any and have their prior learning recognised.

Raffles Institute is a sophisticated, high-tech design institute in India providing good facilities to learn academic art and design. It has a sprawling campus in Andheri, Mumbai and has air-conditioned classrooms, sewing room etc.

Raffles Design International Courses:

The courses offered by Raffles Design Institute Mumbai are mentioned below. The intake for the Bachelor's degree occurs four times a year in January, April, July, and October. The intake of Diploma courses is conducted twice a year in January and July.

RDI Departments:

Fashion Design:

RDI Eligibility Criteria:

The design teachers at Raffles Design International Mumbai are a dynamic team with a professional background. They offer students thorough theoretical and practical training in graphic design and share their experiences with real-world projects.

RDI Admission:

Raffles invites applications multiple times a year- 4 for the diplomas (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct) and 2 for the degrees (Jan, Jul). The selected candidates would be invited to an interview session with the Raffles Program Director. The application form for admission must be submitted along with a fee of INR 3,500.

Documents Required:

• three passport size photographs
• a copy of the candidate's identity proof or passport
• certified copies of educational certificates
• updated resume/ portfolio
• Proof of language proficiency such as IELTS

Raffles Design International Cut Off:

While there is no entrance examination as such, candidates are expected to display proof of English proficiency through their IELTS score. Hence, the RDI cut off is as follows:

• The cut off is an IELTS score of 5.5 for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.
• The cut off is an IELTS score of 6.5 for the Bachelor's degree course.
