Course Work Implementation for IKGPTU Ph.D. Candidates - The coursework for Ph.D. students at IKGPTU will take place in colleges accredited by NAAC-NBA. This initiative is designed to improve the academic experience and guarantee high-quality education for Ph.D. candidates.
Scholarships:
- Guru Harkrishan Educational Society scholarship scheme: For the needy bright student studying in Professional /Vocational courses such as Medical / Managerial / Technical / scientific/ Engg. /Computer Technology/ Graduation in commerce, education and Post Graduation.
- Scholarship scheme for students with Disabilities 2010-2011:In this scheme, a scholarship of Rs.700/-per month to a day scholar and 1,000/- per month to a hosteller is provided to the students pursuing Graduate and Post Graduate level technical or professional courses. A scholarship of Rs.400 /- per month to a day scholar Rs.700/- per month to a hosteller is provided for pursuing diploma and certificate level professional courses. In addition to the scholarship, students are reimbursed the course fees subject to a ceiling of Rs. 10.000/- per year.
- Post Matric Scholarship for Students belonging to Religion of Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, and Parsi: To be eligible, students should have not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.
- The annual income, from all the sources, of the students /parents or guardian, should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
- Maulana Azad National Scholarship Scheme for Meritorious Girl Students of Minority Class: Students belonging to National Minorities such as Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis can apply.
- Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students: The annual income, from all the sources, of the students /parents or guardian should not exceed Rs.1 lakh. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme is running by Punjab Govt. for SC/ST category students whoever parents income in less than 1 lakh from all Sources.
