Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University is a higher education institution based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is one of Chhattisgarh's largest and oldest higher education institutes. It is a state university established by the Madhya Pradesh government in 1964. It is a teaching-cumulative university with 129 college affiliates and 29 University Teaching Departments (UTDs).

Following are the campus highlights of PRSU Raipur:

• Hostels: Raipur University provides hostel facilities to its regular students. Students can study properly with a happy mind and body in an atmosphere similar to their home. The significant benefit of the hostel is that as it is situated within the university campus, there is no problem for the students to reach their departments.
• Canteen: The university has one canteen within the campus. It provides the students with healthy food without compromising on the taste.
• Library: In the library, there are over 100 encyclopaedias to choose from. There are 1,40,801 books in the library, including 28,288 donated books, 8,994 World Bank publications, and 2,881 e-books. There are 24,826 copies of theses and dissertations in the library. About 135 Indian and 69 foreign research publications are available in the library.
• Health Care: For students, instructors, officers, and workers of the university, a male and a female medical officer are posted in the University Health Center. Medicines are also offered here at no cost. Health Camps are held on a regular basis. In the years 2011-2012, 1430 patients visited the campus, out of which 530 of them underwent pathological testing. In this centre, maintenance workers include Lab Technicians, Compounders, ANMs, Peons, and Sweepers. Pathological lab and ECG are also available for out-of-town patients.
• Sports: The university has a gymnasium and facilities for table tennis and badminton. Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs has sanctioned INR 20 Lakhs for an indoor stadium. The proposal for the construction of a state-of-the-art swimming pool is in the pipeline
