Campus placement at Presidency Business School, Bangalore:

The Placement cell facilitates the students to explore the world of employment and new career avenues. It also helps students in career planning through counselling wherein they gather information about themselves in terms of their interests, aptitudes and abilities so that they can choose their career more effectively.

The objective of the Placement cell is also on the professional development of the students by training them towards employability skills such as resume building, group discussion and interview skills which in turn helps the students to move into a desired occupation and/or apply in prestigious postgraduate and professional schools.

The Placement cell takes the initiative to explore new career avenues for graduates and post graduates through visits to new companies and unexplored sectors. Campus recruitments are organized every year. The selection process generally starts with a pre-placement talk in which a firm/organization gives the students insights into the company profile, job profile, career path, CTC etc. which is followed by the actual selection process i.e., written test, group discussion, interview etc.

The recognition of academic excellence of our college by various surveys is a reiteration of our quality enhancement and sustenance. During the previous year more than 45 corporate organizations visited our campus to recruit prospective employees from various streams of study at Post Graduate and Graduate Levels.

The overwhelming feedback from our recruiters regarding the performance of the earlier batches is an assurance of their trust in the quality of our pedagogy. Over the past years, hundreds of students have been placed in reputed and top firms.

2nd Semester Summer Internships

Students work with corporates for a period of two months during which they gain real world exposure through studying the working environment, studying the organization hierarchy, studying the roles, functions and activities of employees, assessing organizational performance, doing a SWOT analysis and attending to assignments or tasks given by the organization

4th semester Dissertations

The dissertations involve a live project with a research involving selection and formulation of the research problem, literature survey, development of working hypotheses, research design, sample design, pilot study, data collection, processing and analysis of data, testing hypotheses, interpretation and generalization and preparation of the report.

Case Study Analysis

Industry experts are invited to conduct Case Study Analysis for the students.

Live assignments done during the course delivery

During the course delivery students are given live assignments which they have accomplished through working at companies where they do assignments.
