Library

Library is the heart of an academic institution. The library is housed in a spacious area of 50, 000 sq ft, fully computerized and air-conditioned with Reference Section, Magazine Section and Stack Area. Presently, there are more than 60,000 books and reference volumes stacked for the benefit of staff and students. There is an established media resource centre. The library subscribes more than 300 specialized journals, over one third of them being international. We are also a member of the British Council Library, CSIR, Delnet, Malibnet, IIT, CII, IEEE, DELNET, Anna University. Newspapers, weekly and fortnightly magazines of repute are subscribed to enable the students to keep abreast of day-to- day trends. The library comprises of an Audio-Visual section equipped with videocassettes and CDs. The Central Library is well equipped with Barcoding and Internet connectivity along with value added services including OPAC, Book Bank, Book Reservation, Audio-video viewing, access to e-resources, Photocopying. PITAM Lilbrary has NPTEL facility that provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science and Humanities streams.

Hostels

The hostels in Prathyusha are truly a home away from home. Personalised care, meaningful and friendly inmate interaction and a restful ambience form part of the hostel life here. Special and need based coaching is given to improve performance in both Academics and Placement.

The hostels are provided with purified drinking water facilities through an exclusive RO plant. Each hostel has phones with STD facilities, Internet hub for individual work and browsing and sophisticated gyms with the latest equipments and facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. Huge and well manicured lawns and paved walkways beckon the youngsters to refresh their minds. The rooms are well ventilated, airy and are provided with ceiling fans. A multi-cuisine Mess serves varied and nutritious food to the students. Fitnesss center in hostels Separate Sophisticated Gym for both Hostels with latest equipments Rooms are well ventilated.
