PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) Bangalore releases various UG and PG exam results, including B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA, MBA and M.Tech, etc., of different specialisations, on their official website - pes.edu. PESIT Bangalore semester exam results are usually announced in the ‘News’ section of their official website, where the link to the result page will be provided. PESU has a total of 3 examinations in a semester- two computer-based internal tests (CBTs) of 40 marks each and the End Semester Assessment (ESA) of 100 marks. Suppose the student fails to attend any of the CBTs. In that case, they can take the test towards the end of the semester, just before the final examination. PESU follows a 10 point grading system, where a grade point of 10 indicates 100% of marks, and a grade point below 6 or 60% is declared fail. How to Check PESIT Bangalore Results 2022?

PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore results for various UG and PG courses are published on the official website (pes.edu) within 60 days, after their End of Semester Assessment (ESA). The ESAs will usually be conducted at the end of the odd and even semesters around November and May, respectively. The result date will be announced in the ‘News’ section of the official site, along with the link to view results. On clicking the link, students will be redirected to the course wise results page to view their marks corresponding to their enrollment numbers. After the university processes student's marks, individual mark sheets can be viewed and downloaded from the student portal. The detailed process to check the PESIT results is mentioned below:

The student is awarded a grade for each course based on the overall score obtained in internal and end semester examinations. PESIT Result 2022 Revaluation Process

Students who fail or are not satisfied with their marks can request retotalling or revaluation of their answer sheets. To be eligible for pass marks or revaluation, students need to have 80% attendance and more than 50% of the score in their internal assessment and term-end exams. After the results are published, the link for the revaluation process will be provided on the website. Students can apply for revaluation through the PES University Academy Portal by submitting an application and paying the revaluation fee.

Apart from the exam scores, marks are also segregated into attendance and assignments. The marks are totalled to 100 by taking 30% of the internal marks (inclusive of average marks obtained in CBTs, attendance and assignments) and 70% of the ESA. Depending on the total marks obtained this way, the students are graded from ‘A to E’. The ‘S’ grade is for students scoring above 90, while the failed candidates below 35 are given an ‘F’ grade.
