There are several associations, NCC NSS etc. various festivities are celebrated ranging from the Saraswati Puja, birth and death anniversary of Bhupen Hazarika, college fests, foundation day, teachers day, college week etc.
There are 3 hostels, 2 for the girls and the hostel fee is quite affordable. The PG's are more costly and the quality of meals is fine. The quality of classrooms is good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostels.
The classes commence at 9 am. The method of teaching is good. The overall experience in the college is very good.
The course fee is INR 7,000 per annum. The scholarships are available for BPL and SC category students.
The alumni network is very strong.
The candidate must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. No entrance exam is conducted. Minimum 60% cutoff mark is required.
I did not give any entrance exam. The eligibility criterion is based on the merit and the cutoff was 58.05%.
