The university presents students with an opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree course. The course is for a duration of 4 years and has a maximum intake of 60 students each year. An additional 6 seats are reserved for Lateral Entry.

• For the admission of the candidates to the M.Pharm degree course, the applicant must be graduated from any recognized university in the B.Pharm course.
• For the M.Sc, MA, M.Com, MBA and MSW degree course admission of the admission seeking candidates, the eligibility states that the applicant must be a graduate in the relevant subject.
• For admission to the M.Ed course, the candidates must have obtained 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the B.Ed, BA. B.Ed, B.Sc. B.Ed, B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed with 50% marks in aggregate.

In furtherance of its mission to provide wholesome scholastic opportunities to its students, the University has a Doctoral programme in five streams- Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, English and Commerce. These courses are administered on both Full Time and Part-Time basis.

Candidates who fulfil the Palamuru University eligibility criteria listed below may apply.

• Candidate must have obtained a Postgraduate Degree, from a recognized University in the concerned subject or in an allied subject approved by the University securing not less than 55% marks at the Post Graduate Degree and securing not less than 50% marks in the case of SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates must have been awarded a research fellowship through a national level test such as UGC-CSIR/ ICMR / ICAR /DBT /JRF fellowship/ and Teacher Fellowship applicants subject to clearance by the RAC, PU
  OR
• The candidates, who do not have any fellowship and have cleared qualifying exams i.e., NET/ TSET/ GATE/ JEST etc., are directly admitted into PhD programme subject to clearance by the RAC, PU
  OR
• The candidates with ICSSR/ RGNF/ MANF/DST-INSPIRE/ NIN- JRF/ICAR/IICT-JRF awarded by national-level bodies/ institutes, Project Fellows etc., having NET/TSET/GATE/Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) or any other equivalent PhD eligibility test qualification are also admitted directly to the PhD programme.
• Those who have any fellowship but do not have any eligibility test qualification are also admitted directly into PhD, provided that they must clear NET/TSET/ other PhD. Eligibility Test recognized by PU, as decided by RAC within two years from the date of admission into a PhD programme.
• The candidate with an M.Phil. or an equivalent degree from a recognized University shall be eligible for direct admission into a PhD programme.
