Oriental Institute of Science & Technology is an engineering college located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is part of the Oriental Group of Institutes. The college is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Oriental Institute of Science and Technology has been accredited as a "B" level college by TCS. TCS is also the major recruiter of the college. The Institution has MOU's with many corporates like TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Sun Microsystems, etc.
The college has a dedicated training and placement cell. The management system of the cell has often organized various seminars, guest lectures for the students. The students practice their skills through various aptitude tests, practice interviews, and soft skill classes for the recruitments. Oriental Group of Institutes introduced campus placements in Central India by bringing companies for the students of its first batch in 1998. Some of the world's Top IT and even Fortune 500 companies have made the Oriental group their nodal centre for campus selection in the State of Madhya Pradesh as well as Chhattisgarh.
